I started out life in the Canadian
Maritimes and grew up there, in Quebec, Ontario and
with a two year stint in Ireland. In 1995, I returned
to the Maritimes and small town life. All this moving
taught me early on that books were the friends you didn't
have to leave behind, and a lifelong love ensued. I
started writing stories that I wanted to read when I
was very young--the stories that I couldn't find anywhere
else. I'm still doing that."
