Becky Taylor is a third-generation
native Oregonian and currently lives in a suburban subdivision
situated in Springfield. Despite her feelings of being
a voiceless woman lacking expertise (without an agent
or publication credits), her concern for what was happening
in the world and in her own subdivision pushed her beyond
fear into action. She is a volunteer for a local non-profit
butterfly education and preservation club. As a way
of giving back to the place of her birth, she has worked
as a civil servant for a local government for over fifteen
years. More importantly, she and her husband, Alby Thoumsin,
raise their young daughter in a place they call home.
