"This world
may turn me down, but I won't turn away."
To sum it up in a few words, the above would be classified
as a state of mind of Megan D. Bossler. An almost-fifteen-year-old
writer, she has limitless destinations and sky-high
goals in her mind--a few of these which she has accomplished.
Some of this success includes being published by SynergEbooks,
being included in a limited edition of Young Writer's
Anthology of Poetry, being nominated and awarded an
IFLA (International Foreign Language Award) for Spanish,
a member of the All-American Scholars, a current columnist
for the News Eagle newspaper in Wayne and Pike counties,
PA; and also participating as a writer for Voices (a
by teens, for teens newspaper, project of the Reading
Eagle/Reading Times newspaper in Reading, PA).
Megan also writes for the school newspaper and works
in yearbook design, as well as graphic/book cover design
for SynergEbooks.com. She is an aspiring webmistress,
and is currently designing a new website which will
be premiering in the summer of 2001.
Spare time for Megan is consumed with writing, graphic
and website design, ballet, tap, and jazz dancing, horseback
riding, working with disabled children for volunteer
work and to hopefully change lives, reading, yoga, and
watching ice hockey and movies. She also enjoys acting
and recently took place and was awarded Excellent in
a speech competition with her duet/acting partner. As
involvement in the church her family attends, Megan
directs and sometimes writes screenplays as captain
of the youth group's drama team.
She is beginning a novel in hopes
that she will actually finish this one - -as her computer
consists of several unfinished novels -- and possibly
be published by SynergEbooks for the second time.
In the meantime, Megan is attempting to be a teenager
and live up to school expectations as a Principal's
Honor Roll student, unfurling her true self and expression
in her precious escape--writing.
