Lynn Jeffcott lives
in the Midwest on the edges of a park and wildlife refuge
with her husband of twenty-three years, Dale, and her
naughty wire-haired dachshund, Klaus Jurgen. A graduate
of the University of Wisconsin, Lynn has had two careers,
one in business and one in education. In marketing and
advertising, she wrote copy for ads, and spots for radio
and television. While a member of the faculty and staff
at two Iowa community colleges, she worked as an English
instructor, advisor and outreach specialist.
She recently retired from her
job at a local college to finish Don't Be Afraid of
the Storm, her first book. As a freelance writer, she
continues to publish in magazines and trade publications.
When she's not at the computer
working with a fat dachshund underfoot, she gardens
and watches the wildlife dine on anything and everything
she's just planted.
