When I was very young I was
a great storyteller. I noticed that when I told a story
I could hold the attention of kids and adults alike.
Often I would exaggerate about my uncle who owned a
large ranch in Colorado and had exotic animals on the
ranch. I told wild tales of visiting the ranch and of
heroic adventures. As an adult I found that I could
still engage people when I told stories, the stories
still had to do with my family and were almost always
humorous.
My career took me into the entertainment industry and
I found that writing a good presentation helped me close
sales as well as made great copy for commercials. For
27-years I have written professionally and have been
secretly writing my children's books for pleasure. The
first book put on paper was "A Tree For Chris"
which was written 13 years ago when my son was young.
Since I have written several stories, and have been
self-published and commissioned to write personalized
stories for children. I'm very anxious to enter into
another field of entertainment and see my books with
SynergEbooks.
