Grownups say there's no such
thing as monsters, but Robbie Portal and his little
brother, Sam, know better. Every night they come from
the closets, and they feed on children's fears.
But Robbie knows how to fight
back. Light will kill the monsters, and they can't bite
through blankets. Armed with flashlights and wrapped
in wool, Robbie ventures into the secret tunnel system
that connects the closets to take the fight to them.
When the monsters retaliate and
abduct his big sister Linda, Robbie goes to Sam for
help. Together they fight to rescue their sister, and
to end their fear of monsters forever.
