The story involves a young girl, Ruby, along with Jimmy,
her brother, who every night blesses Papa in the sky,
along with other relatives and friends. They’ve
seen Papa in pictures throughout their house. Now they
want to know more about him. Papa in the sky is their
late grandfather. The children didn’t know they
had another grandfather, and moreover, why would he
be in the sky? Her mother tells them about the man,
then pursues her children’s other questions about
Heaven.
