
Tal, the oldest
Kincaid brother, finds a chest of Spanish gold coins
and gold dust in a cave while returning to the little
town of Mystery, Texas and brings a sample of the treasure
back with him, where he is faced with the dangerous
task of transporting the treasure to the bank in Abilene.
He enlists the help of G. W. Titus and his partners
to help him transport the treasure. The fortune makes
the Kincaid brothers the richest men in the emerging
state of Texas. Spanish Gold is the tale of the dangers
prevalent when traveling in Texas in the mid 1800s.
