In the mid 1800’s Texas, Ken Kincaid learns that his brother, Tal, may in held in the Abilene, Texas jail. Ken believes Tal is being held on a serious charge: maybe even a hanging offense. Ken and Billy, the younger brother, leave their east Texas ranch to travel the dangerous Abilene trail to help their brother.

While on the trail to Abilene, the brothers meet G. W. Titus, a Texas Ranger, and his Indian side kick, Bear. The men believe they can best save the oldest Kincaid brother by capturing the real killer and take him to Abilene to stand trial. The group finds sign of the desperado they are seeking and the chase is on.

The men face the dangers of banditos, Indians and the notorious Grimshaw gang as they race against the clock to capture Bart Tilson and free their brother from the Abilene jail.

Will they be able to capture the real killer and arrive in Abilene in time to save their brother?
