THE LIFE OF A SOUL
How little we understand the life of a soul. Usually, when
we hear the word life, we imagine the ability of our body
to move. Life means movement, an endless chain of movements
and thoughts. However, even a tree and flower have their
own movements. Their life is a life of silence, modesty,
and inconspicuousness.
However, beyond the life of matter and movement, there is
hidden a more gentle life, covered with everything which
is visible and material. Completely inconspicuous and invisible,
this life is a golden pearl of the substance of our existence.
The life of a soul, as gentle as the most gentle summer
breeze or vibration of the net of the spider’s web,
is impossible to be touched by the hand.
Soul is the word of a thousand possible explanations and
imaginations, and, even so, it is impossible to express
its exact meaning. No philosophy can make a precise definition.
It is invisible, but, in the deepest silence of the heart,
it is the greatest certainty. The soul s radiation illuminates
the cave of our inward being.
Soul is, in fact, the substance of our life, resting as
an eternal, silently flowing stream of the Spirit, in our
body. Some of us are not even aware of its existence because
we don’t want to lower ourselves into the mirror’s
depth of our inwardness, where the matter of the body ends
and starts the realm of the Spirit.
The life of a soul is a vibration of the mysterious and
the unknown, with its hesitations and uncertainty. How little
sometimes we believe in the soul’s presence and, at
the same time fail to notice that, without a soul, there
wouldn’t be a life, there wouldn’t be a human
existence. What would the Universe be without the souls,
without the sparks of God? Only a pile of star dust in the
eternal circulation of break up of matter.
Death is existence without the Spirit, life without the
soul. Therefore death, cannot exist, because it would be
proof of nonexistence of the Spirit and soul, which are
the main reality , the vibrating existence, which has its
origin in the Light of God. Death, as an end of continuity
and evolution, doesn't exist because the space of the Universe,
even in its smallest grain, is filled with the light of
life, with the energy of the Spirit and with the presence
of God.
With every birth of a body, the soul, as a silky yard descends
into the body s substance, in order to fill it up with the
energy of life and become part of the stream of immortality.
In the chain of thousands of lives, a soul fulfills its
purpose of eternal life, even though sometimes quite unnoticed
during the whole life. The stream of immortality can never
dry out or disappear. Its energy is here and continues to
shine the same way as the light of billions of stars on
the dark firmament of the Universe. Even if we don’t
see their physical body, we are able to see their light.
Sometimes, there are days, weeks, years or decades, when
we don’t hear a bubble of the springlet of the life
of the soul and we are letting it, by our ignorance, almost
die out. The springlet, however, is protected by its own
eternal substance, which is in itself everlasting and eternally
alive. It continues to flow, waiting for the time, when
we will be touched by the Providence and wake up into the
world of the Spirit.
In the moment when we realize that we are not
only this body, that we are not only our mind, that there
is something more which has in itself the substance of the
eternity of the Spirit, in this moment, the heaven of our
life will open and choirs of angels will descend near us,
in order to share with us the joy of our knowledge of eternity.
The breaking of the barriers of our minds and the veils of
our thoughts and our transition to understanding and realization
of the strength and reality of silence, out of which flows
the power of the Spirit, is a miracle of our life and another
pearl on our pearl’s chain of life.
There is no greater glare, than with the Spirit filled mind
and opened soul, which can knowingly radiate and receive the
Light of God, the light of spiritual energy. There is no greater
joy than the discovery of the existence of the life of the
soul, which is living in the cave of our interior. Only the
singing of an angel chorus can be a small reflection of this
joyous reality and conscious resurrection of the soul.
Again, discovery of the soul in the human body is a gift of
the greatest grace, sent in the experience of silence into
the consciousness of our interior. A pitcher of the energy
of life, now knowingly filled, shines into the space of silence,
and is united with the ocean of Light, which fills the whole
Universe.
The life of the soul, as a spark of God’s Light, is
now knowingly resurrected to a new life.
