Reviews for
Life's Potpourri
by Ruth Ann Morrison
Life’s Potpourri is a most interesting and
insightful look inside the relationships that the author experienced
in love, with God and with people and animals she has known.
The short story, Farewell to the Sun, reveals the depth of
character of a very famous person as he laments what he will
do when his agent no longer calls, as all he will have left
are dusty awards, meaningless money and the empty, hollow
space where love was. The poems will make you cry and sigh.

I enjoyed all of Life’s Potpourri as it deals with
stories of love, the elderly, animals and the environment
in the format of both short stories and poetry that reveals
how we deal with life situations.

Life has interesting short stories, such as Farewell to the
Sun, and poetry that is very touching. Velvet was one of my
favorites. It is an enjoyable read.

Life’s Potpourri is a grand collection of poetry and
stories. The author writes about her life experiences and
gives us an insight to her highs, lows triumphs and tragedies.
A different and entertaining outlook at life’s follies.
