  closing my eyes and praying the bad fire goes away

  constantly adding more and more stacks until it becomes a beam of death,

  an explosion of steam knocks me down and the temperature drops

  I open my moist eyes

  steam covers my vision and I turn off all active sucks

  all that's left of the wolf is a puddle of murky water and a clean cut where the mountain used to be

  the water returns to its usual trickle, flowing out harmlessly as if nothing happened.

  I walk over to where the wolf once was and fish around for some scattered remains,

  I manage to find an ear through some strange unforeseeable force that seems to guide us into getting everything we need,

  that’s enough adventure for the day, we walk to a resting area and make camp,

  or not since we both don’t like fire, a campfire is out, side doesn’t need to sleep and I can sleep anywhere, so the camp is out,

  why are we here again?

  I look up into the night sky a chilly breeze sends a shiver down my spine

  I wrap the cloak tighter around me and gaze at all the colours of an untainted night,

  a crescent moon hangs in the sky, another smaller moon is up there too,

  some stars shining brighter than others forming unknown constellations,
