Following Lunch, we went to homeroom.
Myself, Eriko, and Ezekiel begin to walk. Rose and Eriko pass one another in the hallway as Rose and her group make their way to Class 1C. The tension between the two is still there.
In the corner of my eye, I see the long light green hair once again.

Silent can't help but stare at them "These two are something" they think to themselves.

"Alright class as many of you know the Magus Exam is in a couple of days. Am sure you are familiar with the rules as you heard from other professors, students, etc. However this year they will change it. "
The class goes into an outroar.
"How can you change it? Isn't it a tradition to follow? Were mere days ahead?"
"Please settle down. The change involves the third stage the eight mages who make it in will be the team for the Aiz Magnificent Magic Games. With the losing 4 being the substitutes of the main four."
"Why would they need to do that?"
Celeste thinks back to the conversation she had beforehand with Ariana Heldam.
"Why would the Headmaster do that?"
"He believes that if the Twelve Stars and Valerus Marina would place in the top four and something were to occur. Who else would be their replacement"
"I see the idea but why even continue with the Magic Games even if you know the risk"

"Hmm," Celeste stands at the podium amongst her students.
"So interesting addition added. Does none of this seem fishy to you guys the fact that the headmaster is well aware of the danger this puts us in and still decides to do it?" Eriko asks.

"No worries Rose we'll help you get a spot in there regardless if we are not partners" Bella speaks to the group.
"Thank you, girls I appreciate it," Rose says in a mean girl manner as she looks at Bianca Roche. "She might be a problem, not only do I have to deal with that Twelve Star, the emotionless statue in Albeck Reigns, but also the so-called Earth Saint," Rose thinks to herself.
"By the way who was that guy this morning with the cape? He looked to be someone important."Azalea asks.
"Azalea if he has a cape it doesn't mean he is important" Sunneta speaks as she playfully chops Azalea's head.

"I have to try to place high in this tournament," Bianca Roche thinks to herself as she sits at her seat. "Being the only elf attending this academy I have to make a statement that elves are just as powerful too. But I do have some adversaries Valerus Marina, Eriko Agnello, Ezekiel Agnes, Albeck Reigns, Rose Providence, and Jericho Pearson the Dragonclad. Haa" She sighs as she looks out the window. "I guess I really have to try."

"I am fine," Albeck says as he continues to walk ahead of Jericho.

"I already said I am fine. I'll work with any partner I get whether there useful or useless am winning the Magus Exam." Albeck stops. "In fact why are you talking to a fellow competitor Dragonclad knowing the Pearson family I wouldn't think you would ask of assistance. A noble family that is known for being arrogant and being full of themselves."
"My name is Jericho Pearson. Not Dragonclad. The reason I would want to team up I believe it would be beneficial for both of us to make it to the 3rd stage."

Rose nods in agreement "I dont want this to be on me but all of you should try and do your best and who knows maybe all of us can make it to the final stage" Rose says.
"I have to win," Rose says.
Familiar voices can be heard around the corner.

"You got to get this stuff down, man"

As the days flowed by nothing occurred no sign of the Phantom Order; no problems with the other students.
A day before the Magus Exam.

"Today was a long day," I say aloud.
"Tomorrow is the big day," Ezekiel says.
"You guys took all the notes, right? Remember we have to get passed the first stage of the exam first to get to the fighting." Eriko says as she waves her fingers around as she lectures us.
Although it looks that she is talking to both of us I believe that she was mainly talking to Ezekiel about this.
"Haha," we get a kick out of this.
"The first stage should be by far the easiest" Eriko says.
"But remember what Eriko said expect the unexpected," I tell the two.
"No matter it's just a little test how bad can it be?" Ezekiel says.
"Please dont jinx it"
"Hahaha. You guys worry too much this will be fun and exciting" Ezekiel says as he puts his hands on his hips and laughs.
"Easy for you to say cause you love to fight"
"Indeed I will become the strongest in the school if I have to"
"Not if I beat you to it," I say.
"A challenge?"
"Yes, I will win," I say with confidence and determination.
"Alright, Valerus may the best Mage win" as he extends his arm.

To take extra precautions a Captain of the Federation will be present at this Exam. The teachers of the exempt students shall be with me during the exam. May everyone stay safe out there."
"This is just way too risky," Ariana says.
"Although it's been tradition it's still too dangerous," Taz says.
"We'll see how it goes" Celeste speaks.
"As for the Student Council and upperclassmen we asked for their help to oversea the first year's Magus Exam," Alfred says.
