Inside a tank, cruising down the highway.
A grim-faced Smith slammed his fist on the steering wheel, making his two followers flinch.
He'd handpicked five ruthless followers, but they couldn't even beat four women. Three of them got killed on the spot.
If he hadn't surrendered quickly, the surviving two would've been toast too.
"A bunch of worthless pieces of garbage..." Smith muttered, narrowing his eyes.
He'd poured resources into leveling up his followers, equipping them with gear and Attribute Orbs. But they all got wiped out in a single fight. Of course Smith was pissed.
Then, Smith's thoughts drifted to the four women, their badass figures sparking an idea.
If he could recruit them as his followers, it'd be a major upgrade from his current crew.
Of course, Smith knew it wouldn't be easy. He'd have to dig up dirt on them first, then figure out how to drive them apart, frame them, or even take out their boss. Only then would he have a shot.
This would require careful planning.
On the other side, in the SUV belonging to the Lins' family, they were stunned by the outcome of the Chests mechanism.
"Wow, they actually won!" Selena said, eyes wide with admiration.
Chloe and the others had crushed three teams, then quickly took down the alliance of two more. The whole thing lasted a minute or two, max. Selena couldn't believe four women could be that fierce.
Selena was genuinely impressed. They won so easily despite being outnumbered!
Her sister, Stella, snapped out of her shock and started analyzing their tactics: four crossbows, flintlock pistols, high-end weapons, and the ability to stun their enemies.
Impressive...
That was all Stella could think. But she quickly realized the four women's RV owner must be even more impressive.
The resources needed to train them to that level were mind-boggling.
Hugo and Arthur felt the same way. Arthur realized he needed to step up his family's training. And Hugo had a sneaking suspicion the women's Recreational Vehicle owner was a guy, which made him envious.
After all, those four women were gorgeous. Only a male Recreational Vehicle owner would go out of his way to recruit four beautiful women.

Meanwhile, the other RV owners were busy speculating about who their Recreational Vehicle owner might be.
Someone even posted a recording of the fight on the Group Chat App.
But not many people cared.
First off, the Group Chat App had over 100,000 users, so the feed was flooded with messages. Second, everyone was focused on something else:
Teams and buses were running into abandoned gas stations while scavenging for supplies.
Inside, besides vending machines, there were pursuer from different races like elves, orcs, dwarves, demons selling things.
Winning or losing a Chests mechanism didn't matter anymore. Everyone was glued to what was happening at the abandoned gas stations.
Only Smith, in the Supernova vehicle team's Group Chat App, posted photos of Chloe and the others, asking everyone to help him dig up intel on them.
The Supernova vehicle team, after learning Smith's followers got wrecked by those four women, started plotting.
One of the RV owners recognized Kira among them.
It was Frank, the Recreational Vehicle owner who controlled the flying sword back in the zombie Dungeon.
Damn...
Frank instantly realized Smith was planning to get revenge on Jason, putting him in a tight spot. On one hand, Smith was in the same vehicle team. On the other, he had a previous connection with Jason.
He didn't want to piss off either of them. Especially Jason, whose true strength was a mystery.
After weighing the pros and cons, Frank decided to backstab Smith.
He had a feeling Smith would lose against Jason, secretly selling Smith's intel to Jason to earn more profit.
Plus, if they kept fighting, he could keep feeding Jason intel about Smith through the vehicle team, raking in the rewards.
On the flip side, if Frank sold Jason's basic intel to Smith, he'd run out of info to sell later on.
So, from a profit standpoint, betraying Smith was the obvious choice.
Besides, he wasn't close to Smith. Jason had fought alongside him. It made sense to side with Jason.
"Sorry, Smith. I need those resources to level up myself and my team," Frank said to himself, then used the system to contact Jason.
Over on Jason's side:
After winning the Chests mechanism, Ellie hugged Chloe's arm and kissed her cheek, thanking her. "Chloe, thank you for saving my life. I almost got shot by an arrow."
Chloe froze for a second after the kiss, then chuckled and hugged Ellie back.
She knew rescuing a beauty would pay off.
"Stop it, Chloe, that tickles..." Ellie said, face flushed, as she tried to wiggle free.
Chloe replied righteously: "Ellie, I'm just checking you for injuries."
Kira and Lily rolled their eyes, watching Chloe in silence.
Chloe's sapphic tendencies weren't a secret. The sisters were all Jason's women, so nobody really minded.
Chloe had been trying to maintain her status as the main wife, so she'd been holding back on this kind of stuff. But the "beauty saves beauty" trope finally got the better of her.
Chloe had always envied those "hero saves beauty" stories, hoping it would happen to her one day. Now her dream had come true.
Lily couldn't take it anymore. She said softly, "Chloe, can you please control yourself? There are a dozen Goblins watching..."
Chloe's movements froze. Sure enough, she saw a dozen Goblins staring at them from the side of the road, some even drooling.
Chloe instantly lost interest.
Ellie saw her chance and scrambled out of her arms.
Jason began to praise each of them for their performance in the Chests mechanism. The four women all smiled, as if they'd received some kind of recognition.
"Chloe, your Spiritual Shock was perfectly timed. You wouldn't have been able to beat the last team without it. And thanks for saving Ellie..."
"Kira, the followers who ganged up on you were pretty strong. You still managed to take them down calmly. Well done..."
"Ellie, your flintlock pistol skills are getting better and better. I saw a lot of people fall to your shots..."
"Lily, you were so brave. You were like a Valkyrie..."
