Episode 13: Kidnapped Dragiono! Kouchus Daring Rescue!!

Night settled over the Crystal World like a dark curtain pulled across the sky, stars flickering quietly above Blossomite City’s outskirts. But while most rested, an urgent message had reached the ears of our young hero, Kouchu Misako—a message that burned brighter than any fire.

  Roaracryst (wide-eyed):

  “Dragiono’s been… kidnapped?!”

  Shauna (clenching fists):

“By Hunter Grai? That cold-hearted freak from the mountains?!”

  Sakuro (arms crossed):

“It makes sense. A rare Crystal Monster like Dragiono… He’s the type Grai would obsess over.”

  Narration:

The fire within Kouchu flared. His hands trembled—not from fear, but from fierce determination.

  Kouchu (firmly):

“Then I’ll save Dragiono. I’ll do it myself if I have to.”

  Roaracryst:

“I’m not letting you do that alone, buddy. We’re in this together.”

[Scene: Outside the Zoo – Midnight Mission]

The zoo was quiet. Too quiet. Kouchu crept across the tall iron gate, a crudely drawn map in his hand, clearly sketched by Shauna’s artistic talent (which resembled a child’s doodle).

  Shauna (whispering):

“That’s not the snack bar. That’s the reptile house.”

  Sakuro (deadpan):

“You drew a smiley face over the security office…”

  Kouchu:

  “Less judging, more sneaking!”

They slipped into the shadows. Security lights blinked as they moved past sleepy Crystal Beasts, dodging zookeepers and camera drones. Finally, in the back—past the broken display labeled “HIGHLY DANGEROUS. DO NOT PET”—they found him.

  ?

  [Scene: Dragiono’s Cage]

  Narration:

There he lay—Dragiono, the legendary dragon-like Crystal Monster, his scales glowing with golden heat, but his eyes dim, chained with cold steel and sorrow. He was massive yet majestic, his fiery wings curled around him protectively.

  Kouchu (softly):

“Hey… I’m here to help you.”

  Dragiono (weakly):

“…Another thief? Another abuser? Leave me be…”

Kouchu (placing a hand on the bars):

  “I’m no thief. I’m a Brawler. A friend.”

  Narration:

  Roaracryst nodded, stepping beside him.

  Roaracryst:

“He may be dumb sometimes, but he’s got the biggest heart I know.”

  Narration:

Dragiono looked up. And for the first time in weeks… he believed someone.

  ?

  [Scene: Grai’s Approach]

But just as the chains were cut, the heavy stomp of boots echoed through the stone floors.

  Hunter Grai (coldly):

“You think you can steal from me?”

Kouchu (standing in front of Dragiono):

“He’s not yours to steal. He doesn’t belong in a cage.”

  Grai (eyes narrowing):

“You don’t understand power, boy. But you will.”

  Narration:

In a flash, Grai launched a blast of dark energy from his own Crystal Gauntlet—but Roaracryst intercepted with a spinning Shuriken Slash. The impact knocked Kouchu and Dragiono backward.

  ?

  [Scene: The Escape]

  Sakuro (yelling):

“Kouchu! Ride Dragiono! He can fly!”

  Shauna (tossing the last lockpick):

“Go before he cages you too!”

  Kouchu (looking to Dragiono):

  “You ready?”

  Dragiono (growling, wings spreading):

  “I was born ready.”

  Narration:

With a roar that shook the stars, Dragiono soared into the sky, wings blazing, Kouchu gripping his back tight. Below, Hunter Grai shielded his eyes from the flare.

  Grai (watching the sky):

“So that’s your true form… Dragiono… rarest of fire spirits. This isn’t over.”

  ?

  [Scene: Skies Above Blossomite]

  Kouchu (shouting over the wind):

  “You’re free now, Dragiono!”

  Dragiono (voice clear, strong):

“I’ve never felt the sky like this before… thank you, Kouchu.”

Roaracryst (flying alongside on Shauna’s glider):

“You owe us big time, dragon-boy!”

  Narration:

Though the danger was far from over, and Grai’s ambition now burned hotter than ever, Kouchu had done something few dared to try—he didn’t just fight for Crystal Monsters. He rescued them.

And more than medals, more than battles—this was what made him a true Brawler.
