Valkor stood tall, barefoot upon the damp sand, eager to begin, his wide set eyes started surveying the land around him. Cliffs that towered over him, arching across the shore, creating its own cove. off in the distance, trees hid a small path that led deeper into the land. The smell of seaweed and salt hits and Valkor takes a deep breath in. "Just like home," Valkor thought. "The trees look to carry strong wood. There must be prey hiding for me too." Valkor stretches his broad shoulders each scale clicking, letting out splatters of moisture. Valkor rolled his powerful neck, the cartilages in his broad flat skull softly clicking as droplets of seawater traced the sleek curves of his hammer shaped head. "Luna I'm off keeping the ship safe for me would ya? tsksksk" Valkor jogs off towards the forest of trees each step leaving deep prints embedded within the sand.
As Valkor beings his journey for food and wood the sun begins to set and Luna starts her own little journey of sleep. Luna finds a spot to sleep at the peak of the ships bow. Stretching her long legs and licking her silky white fur she begins to knead in circles before finally settling down, her ears flicker and a sense of unease lingers through her senses, Luna makes one last glance around the newly founded land before her crystal blue eyes begin to slowly close. "Over here I found a ship!" Luna's eyes shot open, her heart beating ever faster as her once uneasy feeling grew into panic. Unexpected voices emerge from the thickets. Her eyes dart around the cove looking for Valkor, yet he has not returned from the forest. Luna begins to run back and hides behind one of the railings, watching as the strange group of men walk ever so slowly towards the ship with their weapons unsheathed. "This is the ship I saw sir, I watched appear from the sea of oblivion." A young man said. Luna notices one of the strangers, much taller, yet fashioned in bright clothes with fur around his neck and a book wrapped in chains that hang low around his belt. "And how on earth did get onto the beach lad? Its boat it's meant to be on water not sand. The design is quite feral isn't it and what's with the bones and skulls scattered around it. Go see if anyone is inside to answer for this." The man spoke with confidence. The young men make their way towards the ship and start stabbing their small weapons into the ship climbing their way up. Luna's eyes soften, her grey ears and tail patten down as fear sparks through her very soul. She makes her way down towards the oarsman's level where the fungus infected oarsmen is kept.
The young men made their way onto the ship and began exploring the ship, each room empty, not a soul in sight. One of the men whispered to another. "What do you think was on here? Can't be human, there’s bones everywhere, and where’s the food? They wouldn’t sail without food, it looked as though whoever was here just left suddenly. Maybe its a ghost ship." "A ghost ship? What's next, ghosts?" the man said. "Who would've been stupid enough to cross the sea of oblivion." The air around them grew colder as they entered the dining hall. "Maybe we shouldn’t be here. It's the only room that’s cold, everything is wet, and what is with these weapons? They’re made of bones."
"Not all of them look at this one." The younger troop picks up a sword made from a material similar to steel. the black goo dripped off the blade and onto the floor. "Put that thing down quick. Something is off with this ship. This place is cursed, I know it, come on let's get out of here.”
Another group of soldiers made their way down into the oarsman's deck. The smell of rotting fish fueled the air, with the subtle scent of seaweed. "Ugh, what is that smell?" one of the younger warriors said, twisting their face trying to prevent the smell from entering their nose. "I think it is that thing." The older man said. The yellow fungi infected creature curled into the ground, the black fungi molding into the ground almost as if it's trying to absorb the oarsmen into the ship. "What in the gods is that!?" the youngest and most inexperienced warrior backs away at the sight, holding his hand against his mouth trying to prevent himself from wanting to vomit. "Whatever it was, it's no longer alive." the most experienced man spoke. His voice shifted to an anxious tone, never seeing a creature quite like this. He begins to sweep the area again. "look for anything the noble will need to bring back. We are not finished until we find something that gives us answers." Luna's eyes preyed on one of the soldiers, tracking their every move. " Sir something is watching us, over there in the darkness. The larger man covered in steel plates makes his way towards Luna. Each step faster than the other, with a small blade in one hand ready to cut at anything that proves dangerous. "Gotcha!" Luna hisses and scratches at the man in armor, screeches any every possible breath. "God damn it, damn cats. Jovil come here." "uh, yes sir?" The plated man reaches his hand out behind him with Luna wrapped around his wrist biting at his metal armor. "Take this cat away from me and bring it to the noble, maybe the princess wants a new pet." "Right away sir." Jovil takes Luna from the plated man and makes his way back to the noble.
The plated man begins to make his way back until a strange crackling noise comes out from beneath him. "Who's there!?" The plated shifts his position around the room trying to mark where the noise is coming from. The noise continues. Each wet crack slowly shuffled around. "It's coming from below sir." his bodyguard said. "Below?" The plated man reaches behind his back to pull out a giant maul that carries unique runes that scatter over the shaft, the head large with ridges that are razor sharp and the back end one giant spike that could empale even his own armor. As he raises the maul over his head he lets out a thunderous roar and smashes down his maul sending splinters of wood flying in every direction splitting off into more pieces as it hits his plated armor with a force that could knock out someone without plated steel. Below the oarsman's deck laid capsules in the shape of eggs covered slightly with water, slowly shifting around. "eggs?!? Giant eggs?!? Leon grab the others, we are taking the eggs to the noble maybe he knows what these are."

Jovil finally returns to the noble to deliver Luna." Here sir Nicolai we found a cat, the captain thought maybe the princess would want it." hmm yes I suppose she would, it is a pretty cat. But what was a cat doing on that ship?" Nicolai said. "Maybe it was a wild cat that found it as a home?" Young Jovil stated. "maybe yes." Nicolai looks deep into Luna's eyes, the sadness in her eyes sparkled as they watered. Knowing she might have lost Valkor. "And what is this? Quite fascinating indeed young Khazan captain of the ashen wolves. Eggs! Large eggs, I suppose you expect us to have omelets now, yes?" Khazan merely looks at Nicolai and grunts in annoyance. "They aren't for eating sir, they seem to be different I thought maybe you would know." Nicolai eyes haunt Khazan with disappointment. "They are eggs, Khazan they look like eggs so they’re probably eggs. And how many did you find? just these?" Khazan looks back and points his thumb towards the back of the ship. "No, the lower deck is actually full with eggs, the men are still bringing them out now." Nicolai's face twists in confusion as to wonder why so many eggs were left behind and thinks to himself. "What creature do these belong to? Goblins? No, too big and slimy." Nicolai looks at the ship. "You said the ship was full with these?" Khazan replies. Yup the lower chamber was full, covered in water."
Deep into the forest Valkor finally manages to find the food he wanted and the wood he needs for camp, as his jaws munch through the now dead rabbit he begins his march back to the ship. "I wonder how Luna is faring. Probably asleep I imagine. Suppose she is quite hungry." Before Valkor makes his way back to the cove he hears voices mumbling from the cove. His mind flickers through trying to figure out what they are saying and where they are coming from. And his mind finally ticks. "Luna! The ship, someone found it!" Valkor drops all of his wood and food and begins to sprint towards the cove. Just as he appears from the thickets, he sees a man in brightly colored clothes, fur around his neck and Luna hunched over his shoulder. "Luna!" Valkor's eyes begin to glow red, his scales rise, piercing outwards spitting out moisture that was kept within, his jaw clenched, his jagged teeth hungry for blood, he sprints towards the colored clothed man and Luna. "What in the 7 hells is that?" Jovil shouted unsheathing his sword.
Nicolai looks back to see Valkor sprinting towards him. " Someone stop that thing! Don't let it near me bring me it's corpse and you'll be rewarded greatly." The 2 men that guarded Nicolai now lay waiting for Valkor to approach. Valkor’s head shifts, noticing the bunch of eggs nested by the ship being shifted by each soldier. Every one of them look towards Valkor and drops the eggs, shattering them upon impact with the ground, sending a small fetus of his kind lifeless. Khazan readies his maul and sends out a shout, lifting everyone's morale and invigorating them. " Arms ready lads! Strike it down quickly, don't let it even fight back!" The soldiers begin to line up preparing to interrupt Valkor's pursuit. Valkor’s arm reaches for his sword and his blade rips out from his belt ripping apart the fabric that kept it safe, the rage fueled Valkor's heart, causing his chest to tighten after every thought of losing Luna, the only friend he had left.
His grip tightened, sending squirts of water from the cartilages in his hand. And lets out a thunderous roar that carries unnatural frequencies that sends the men with weaker minds trembling and shaking their heads trying to unshackle themselves from the noise. Birds scatter from the trees desperately trying to escape the deafening sound. Yet Khazan withstood Valkor's roar, and made his way towards Valkor prepping his maul behind his shoulder ready to strike Valkor in one swing. Yet with Valkor's keen animalistic senses and his fluid like movements Valkor manages to evade Khazan's swing. Valkor takes his stance, embedding his feet into the ground and hunches down low, causing his back fin to aim directly into the sky. Valkor raises his hammer shaped head towards Khazan's chest and swiftly just before Khazan strikes again, Valkor launches himself off from the ground and uses his head to swing towards Khazan's sides. Khazan quickly manages to sidestep mid swing, causing him to drop his maul, just barely taking the blow of the attack.
" What the hell are you? Some twisted experiment with sharks??" Khazan spats, just catching his breath. "Quiet" Valkor's voice resonates through Khazan's metal helmet, deafening him for a moment, Valkor's large range of sight notices a young soldier sprinting towards him. Valkor takes his blade and throws it towards an oncoming soldier which pierces through his chest sending him flying across 7 meters back to the ship, impaling him and leaving him lifeless, to hang from the ship's side. Valkor then takes his hand and creates a claw like shape and grabs Khazan by the arm, the grip so strong that it crushes the plated armor and the sound of bones crunching and snapping. Khazan lets out a shriek of pain that no one has ever given him before. " Khazan quickly attempts to shuffle backwards, taking the small blade from his belt and slashing Valkor's wrist, but the blade just screeches against the scales, sending sparks flying and sheets of metal flying. Valkor then pulls Khazan inwards and using his head he swings his head into Khazan's Helmet sending it flying along with Khazan's head. The soldiers cower in fear as they just witnessed The brutal fight with the Shark creature. "What... What happened? That wasn't even a fight. We should get out of here while we still can and tell Nicolai." young Jovil shouted. The soldiers drop their weapons and armor and begin to run away from where they came. With the fight now finished Valkor's Blood rage begins to wear down and his breath begins to catch up to him. Valkor begins to think about Luna and falls to his knees. "Luna... I'm sorry I was too slow."
Valkor shakes his head "Come on Valkor snap out of it, stay calm and you can get through it. Focus." Valkor looked around the cove and remembered the eggs that the soldiers were taking from the ship. "Eggs? Did they come from the ship? I don't remember any eggs." Valkor tries to look back into his mind but nothing comes. Valkor places his hands on his knees as he pushes himself back up and regains his strength. The eggs that are piled together pulsate as they struggle to gain moisture. "I don't know why there are eggs on our ship but Ra'Zakar must've had his reasons, fertile eggs sent to the new world? I suppose this was the king's orders." Valkor walks up to the smashed eggs and picks up a lost kinsman, "I'm sorry little one you weren't meant to go this way." Valkor lets out a deep breath and stares at the remaining eggs. " I suppose I should place these into the water till they hatch. The sound of silence quickly hits Valkor, no more meows, the presence of any other life gone, thunder lightly echoes from the sea. Valkor takes his hand out catching the droplets of rain as he looks off into the distance, remembering what home was like, how it was with friends, family and his cat.
