If you’ve made it this far, you already know that Su Kang and Bai Yunxi’s relationship progressed too quickly in the early chapters. Why? Because I was writing for Webnovel’s audience at the time.
They preferred fast-paced romance, and as an amateur writer, I let them dictate the story’s flow. I had my own plot in mind, but I lacked confidence in my writing.
To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I could write a strong plot-driven novel and still attract readers. So, I added wish fulfillment, harem, and romance—not because I thought it was the best approach, but because I was afraid that without these elements, the story wouldn’t succeed.
If I hadn’t uploaded this novel on RR, I probably would have abandoned it. This story would have remained nothing more than a fantasy in my mind. One of the reasons I’m still writing is because of my circumstances. I won’t lie—I’m hoping to earn some money through this.
I know mentioning this might make some of you uncomfortable, and if you choose to stop reading because of it, I completely understand. It’s not greed; my situation is just complicated. But don’t worry, I won’t steal or scam your money… haha.
But I do want to steal some of your time and suggestions.

If you’re thinking, "You should remove the harem and focus only on the main plot," that’s no longer possible. I would have gone straight into the core storyline if Bai Yunxi didn’t exist, but I’ve already invested too much into her.
I really like this novel now, and some future arcs will be difficult to execute without the harem elements.
There’s a specific scene I’ve been waiting for, a turning point when we finally enter the main plotline. I can’t wait to see your reactions when we reach that moment.
Unfortunately, it’s still far away. Without the harem dynamics, we could get there sooner, but I’ve decided to stick with this direction.
I know I’m not good at romance, but I’ll try to improve so it doesn’t feel forced or distasteful. I also want to write epic fight scenes in the future, but that will come later.
Now, onto the main topic:
I’ve decided to rewrite this novel and upload it with a slightly different title.
The new version will be mostly the same, but with some improvements.
The romance between Su Kang and Bai Yunxi will develop slightly slower—about 4–6 extra chapters to make it feel more natural.
I want the new book to catch up quickly, so I won’t make too many changes.
Intimate chapters will follow RR guidelines (I won’t exceed the 15% limit). Just minor tweaks to stay within the rules.
While working on the new book, I’ll continue updating this one for now. However, once the new version catches up, I’ll fully transition to the rewritten version and delete this one.
