  Chapter 1

  “Haaa haaa”

  So this is what it feels like to be tired. Actually I'm tired and not tired at the same time. I can't feel any pains or emotions but I can feel my heavy breathing.

  Hello. My name is thor.

  Or that's what my mother used to call me.

  My mother was killed by my father's grandfather’s hired men’s. They killed my mother so painfully that I couldn't do anything but just watch.

  They were playing with my mother as she was dying.

  I couldn't do anything because they broke my left leg and even if my leg was not broken I still couldn't do anything because there were 5 high class assassins sent by my grandfather,odin.

  I don't know why my grandfather sent assassins to kill my mother but one thing I'm sure is, he really hated me and my mother.

  I want to know about why he killed my mother so mercilessly, it's not like I'm trying to avenge my mother now my mother wanted me to take revenge.

  All I want to know is why a grandfather hates his grandson so much even though I don't have any powers.

  Maybe he just couldn't believe it when he heard that his grandson couldn't use any powers and was emotionless, is what I think.

  My current mother name is elysia. She is the one who adopted me when my mother died infront of me.

  She was the one who also healed my leg which was broken by the assassins. She was a kind person, I could tell that. But not with my emotions I can only say that because my mother selestia taught me who is a kind person and who is evil.

  So when she healed my leg, she asked me to come to her house, and I couldn't refuse her offer because I had nowhere to go.

  When I said I wanted to go to her house,she looked really happy and she said “ so, what's your name kid? And sorry I'm asking about your name after healing. You must have gone through so much. How about I take you to my house and you can tell me about yourself while going”.

  I said “Thank you very much for letting me to go to your house. And my name is thor. What about yours mam?”.

  When she heard my name she looked a bit confused and shocked to hear my name. So I asked her “ is there any problem with my name?”.

  She said “ oh no no. I think I was just imagining things when I heard your name.But how could be there 2 thor in one univer-?”.

  She stopped talking and said “ oh just ignore what I just said. And let's go to our home and we can talk while going to my house”.

  “Our home huh”.

  I never thought that someone would accept me even though I don't have any powers. I explained everything to her while we were walking and going to her house. She was sad after hearing everything and asked me to just rest in her house. She said that she will take care of me from now on.

  After reaching her house, she went inside and was confused about why I was not coming inside.

  “What happened thor? Why are you not coming inside? Is there any problem with you or is your leg still paining?”.

  Even though I explained about myself, I think she forgot that I don't have any emotions but the thing was, “why I'm not going inside?”.

  Because I saw a girl inside and if I go to her house will she hate me for coming to her house without her permission or she would welcome me? I wanted to believe that she is also kind like her mother. So I went inside of her house.

  After coming inside, she introduced me to her daughter.

  “Thor, she is my daughter,rhea. She is a very kind person so you don't have to worry about it okay?”.

  “And rhea, his name is thor”.

  And she started explaining to her daughter what happened and her daughter didn't looked shocked like her mother,but she was sad after hearing my story from her mother.

  “So thor, from now onwards she is your younger sister and you're her older brother. What do you say? Do u want to be a older brother to my daughter?”.

  I who was confused after hearing those words and said “ uh, I don't understand anything? Why would I want to be a big brother to a kind person like her? I don't mean it in a bad way, I'm just saying that I can't make her happy if I become her older brother. And why would she accept it from a stranger who just came to her house?”.

  That little girl who was sad until now, started sparkling in her eyes and said “--------------”.

  “Uh what? I couldn't hear it. Can you please say it loud ?”.

  After I said that her mother said “ thor, actually she doesn't have a voice. She was born without a voice. That's why you can't hear anything she just said right now.She always wanted a big brother or a older sister. Because of her curse she couldn't even talk to me properly and I couldn't understand her either. And that's why she wanted someone who could understand her words even though she doesn't have a voice”.

  “Oh, so that's why you want me to be her big brother. Ok I will become her big brother but what about her dad? Does he allow me into your house or not?”.

  Elysia and her daughter rhea became silent after hearing those words.

  I think I said something that I shouldn't have?.

  “Thor, actually my husband died years ago when rhea was not born. She couldn't have any feel of a father since she was born, so I raised her alone like your mother did. So, I would be very happy if you could fill her brother's role”.

  “Oh ok. I will fulfill my role as a brother but I don't know how or what to do to become a good older brother for her. Because I also didn't have any brother or sister”.

  Rhea who was silent all the time, she smiled happily and said “--------------”.

  “Ok. I understand. If you don't have any problems with me, then I also don't have any problems with you as my younger sister.

  Her mother was shocked again and she came near me and held me tightly and asked this “ how are you able to understand rhea’s words. Even I can't understand it after so many years”.

  I said “ I didn't understand her words I just followed her lips movements and I understood with that”.

  Her mother who became more shocked and started to feel happy and her daughter also started to feel happy.

  “Why do you both look happy?”. “Did I say something wrong or I said something that I shouldn't have?”. “If so, then please forgive me, because I don't have any feelings I can't understand your emotions. I'm really sorry to both of you”.

  Elysia who was happy said “No thor, you just made me so happy that I want to cry. For rhea's curse I have searched every doctor in the universe and no one was able to treat her treatment. So I was in depression after I heard that ,but again I realised that ,if I don't take care of my daughter, then who will?. So Istarted to take care of my daughter very carefully and happily. I wanted to give her every happiness she wanted. But again she was always sad about not having a voice like others. And you just now understood her words even without her writing in a paper. Tell me how were you able to understand it, that not even high class magicians couldn't”.

  I said “ like I told you I don't have any powers to begin with, and even I don't know how I'm able to understand her words just from her lips movements. I always understood every person's words just from their lips movements. So I always thought that it is normal for other people also. So I never questioned my mother about this”.

  Elysia who finally understood my situation, loosened her grip from my hand and said this “I'm sorry thor for questioning you like this. I was just thinking about my daughter’s safety. I'm really sorry about that”.

  After hearing that I said “it's ok mom, I understand your concern about your daughter. I won't question you anything about you daughter if that's what you want. I was just curious that's all I think or was I not?”. “I don't know what I say sometimes Even though I can't feel anything”.

  Elysia after hearing that said “ no thor, it was my mistake for not understanding you. I'm really sorry about that. And let's go to your new house. Aren't you curious about how is it”?.

  Elysia who looked happy held my hand and her daughter’s hand and we went inside their house. I mean our new home.

  After we went inside, Rhea looked like she wanted to say so many things to me and talk to me about everything and her powers and her companion.But she looked at me and thought that I should first eat. Because I was didn't eat anything for 5 days.

  It's not like I want to eat something but if I don't eat anything I will die. So firstly my new mom told me to sit at dinner table and she brought so many things to eat.

  I started eating everything on the table. They both looked happy to see me eating food wholeheartedly.

  I wanted to ask them about my companion also because when me and my mother was attacked by those assassins, they also killed my companion who I didn't even named it. But I thought it would be better if I don't ask infront of her daughter or she will be worried about me.
