Chapter 4: New faces, old friendships
The Blue Mountain team arrived at the airport in Japan with laughter and excitement. For many of them, it was their first time in the land of the rising sun, and the atmosphere of the tournament was already felt in the air.
"Do you think someone will recognize us?" Azrat asked, looking around.
"Of course... everyone remembers Azrat Prime." Bruno joked, earning a general laugh.

The host and an unexpected surprise
At the exit of the airport, a tall and elegant man was waiting for them who introduced himself as Hiroshi Tanaka, the host of the event.
—Welcome to Japan. I've heard a lot about you... especially about you, Talión. -he said with a polite smile.
"I hope not everything you heard is good..." Talión replied, humbly.
While Hiroshi guided them to the bus that would take them to the sports center, a familiar figure appeared in front of them.
"Dragon?" Aurora exclaimed.
"What are you doing here?" Azrat asked, visibly surprised.
Drago smiled confidently.
"I guess they didn't know that I'm actually American... and now I'm going to represent the United States.
The Blue Mountain team looked at each other, confused but intrigued.
"Well, brother... it doesn't matter the country you represent," Talión said with a smile, "... I wish you luck." But when you compete against us, you know what will happen.
"I tell you the same." Drago replied, with a defiant smile.

The presentation of the rivals
Once at the sports center, the Monta?a Azul team met its main rivals:
?? Kwan Ji-Hoon, the Korean prodigy with an intense look, known for his perfect technique in the butterfly style. His attitude was serious, distant, and he barely spoke to the team.
?? Erik Thorsen, the Norwegian with a wide smile and a carefree attitude. His personality was relaxed and a joker, but everyone knew that in the water he was a real beast.
?? Wei Fang, the quiet Chinese swimmer. His serene look hid a great talent in the back style, and his presence imposed respect.
?? Alexandre Duvier, the Frenchman who had already promised revenge against Talion. His gaze crossed with Talión's, and both measured themselves in silence.

Erik Thorsen, the Norwegian, noticed Luz from the first moment.

Luz turned slowly, with a serious expression.

"Nothing I can't handle." Luz smiled, moving her hips provocatively.

Categories and confrontations
At the pre-tournament meeting, the following categories were confirmed:
? Bruno would compete in the new 500-meter endurance style.
? Azrat would face Erik Thorsen in an intense speed test.
? Jocelyn would have a complicated challenge against a Japanese rival who presented herself as Mizuki Aoki, a swimmer with impeccable technique.
? Aurora would compete again in a special category of mixed relays.
? Talión would directly face the four main rivals in the 500-meter freestyle, but his competition would be left for the end.
Before the competition began, the rivals greeted Talión one by one.
"I've been waiting for you," Kwan Ji-Hoon said in a cold tone.
"I hope you're ready, friend..." Erik Thorsen said, with a confident smile.
"When you enter the water... everything will be silence and calm," Wei Fang said in a calm voice.
Alexandre Duvier was the last to approach.
"This time... I'll make you swallow those strokes, Mexican."
Talion just smiled.
"Don't worry... if you want to see something impossible, you just have to wait for me at the finish line."

The beginning of the tournament
The first races of Talion's friends were about to begin. The Blue Mountain team met in the dressing room, where Aurora gave the final words.
"Don't forget this..." he said firmly. "We face the best in the world... but you are here because YOU ARE the best in the world. Give it your all.
Bruno, Azrat, Jocelyn and Aurora nodded with determination.
The chapter closed with Talión leaning against the wall of the dressing room, watching his team with pride.
"We're going to break their souls..." he murmured to himself.
