Chapter 31: The Roar of the Ocean
The Blue Mountain team was gathered in the hotel room when Azrat, with a smile from ear to ear, finally revealed his great secret.
"We're going to Canada!" he exclaimed enthusiastically.
"What!?" Bruno shouted.
"And why exactly to Canada?" Aurora asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Because there is a cruise... and not just any cruise." One that goes through an area where you can see orcas... and I thought it would be the perfect gift for our team!
The team couldn't help but get excited.
"The orcas!" Talion felt his chest accelerated.
"Wait, wait..." Jocelyn interrupted. Where did you get money for this?
"Connections, dear... connections." Azrat said, winking.
What Azrat didn't mention was that he also invited someone else... Stephanie.
?
The trip to Canada
The cruise was imposing, surrounded by an immense blue ocean and a fresh air that announced that something big was about to happen.
? Bruno took advantage of the trip to spend time with Valeria. During dinner, they both laughed non-stop, and little by little their relationship seemed to become more natural and sweet.
? Jocelyn and Aurora spent hours talking, forging a sincere friendship that made them feel comfortable and understood.
? Talión and Luz had a romantic moment on the deck of the boat.
Luz approached Talión, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Are you still thinking about the orcas?" Luz asked, noticing Talión's thoughtful expression.
"Yes... but it's more than that... I feel that something incredible is about to happen.
"Something like this?" Luz took Talión's face and kissed him slowly.
The kiss was warm, deep... one of those moments that feel eternal.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
"Yes... just like that." Talión said, with a smile.
?
Azrat and the mystery of Stephanie
Meanwhile, Azrat couldn't be happier. Stephanie hugged him by the arm, laughing at his silly jokes and looking at him as if it were the best thing that had happened to him.
"I don't understand why they think you're making things up." Stephanie said.
"Believe me... I've tried to prove it... but no one believes me.
"Do you want me to introduce myself now?" she asked, smiling.
"Yes!" Please...
Just as they were heading towards the group, Jocelyn slipped and almost fell down the stairs. The team ran to help her... and by the time everything returned to calm, Stephanie had disappeared again.
"It can't be!" Azrat complained, looking at the sky.
Later, he showed a photo of the trip where he and Stephanie appeared, hugging and smiling.
"Here's the proof!" Here she is!
"That looks very edited..." Aurora said, causing laughter in the group.
"How the hell did I edit this in the middle of the cruise?" Azrat insisted, frustrated.
"Calm down, brother... I'm sure it's a ghost." Bruno joked, causing more laughter.
?
The reunion with Flippy
The next day, while Talión was walking alone on the deck of the ship, something caught his attention.
In the water... he saw a black fin sliding slowly.
—It can't be...
Without thinking twice, he ran to the edge of the boat and threw himself into the ocean.
"Talion?!" Luz shouted, running after him.
Talion swam with all his strength, approaching the dark figure. She was an orca... and she looked like Flippy!
"Flippy!" he shouted, trying to make him recognize him.
But the orca just swam faster.
"Come on... I know it's you... remember me!
Talion's heart shrank when he saw that the orca seemed not to react.
Suddenly, another fin appeared... and then another one.
There were three orcas swimming around him.
For a moment, Talion felt desperate... until he saw that one of the orcas came closer, and with a slight movement, he brushed his hand.
"...Flippy?" he whispered.
The three orcas began to swim in circles around him, playing as they did years ago.
"It's them!" Talion said, unable to hold back his tears.
Flippy, along with the other two orcas (which he named Storm and Blaze), swam around him, as if they had been waiting for him all this time.
?
The epic scene: Swimming like orcas
Talion swam next to them. At first, he tried to keep up, but every stroke seemed impossible to him.
"Come on... concentrate...
He recalled Drago's advice: "Walk on the water for the first few seconds..."
Talion stopped forcing his body and began to flow. His movements became softer... more natural... more like an orca.
For the first time in his life, Talion felt like he was really part of the ocean.
The orcas swam next to him, pushing him with their movements as if they accepted him between them.
From the boat, Aurora, Bruno, Luz and the rest of the team saw him impacted.
"I can't believe it..." Aurora said.
"I thought it was just a crazy story that he invented... but..." Bruno didn't finish the sentence.
"The boy who swam with the orcas... is real." Luz said, with a smile full of pride.
?
The awakening of the true power of Talion
When he returned to the ship, Talion dried up and looked at the ocean once more.
"I'm going to master this technique..." he said to himself. “Because I know it will be key to winning in France.”
Luz approached, taking him by the hand.
"What you did today was incredible... but promise me that next time you'll let me know before throwing yourself into the water like crazy.
Talion laughed softly and nodded.
—Promised...
The waves broke gently against the boat, while Flippy, Storm and Blaze swam at a distance, watching their old friend.
