  "You've gone too far!" Hong Cha argued and followed Lin Xingjin. Nian Xiaoyuan wouldn't let her and pulled her back. He held her arms to keep her.

  Hong Cha bit her lower lip until Nian Xiaoyuan stopped in front of a secluded tranquil lake. She finds it scenic with the lanterns around them. Nian Xiaoyuan handed a satchel of treats to her and sat down at the waterside with his legs crossed. He tossed a pebble from his palm before throwing it to the water's surface.

  "Hm?" suddenly, Hong Cha saw a piece of Song Cha Hua's memory. When she was just five, Song Cha Hua was often bullied by someone. A young teenage boy saw her looking for her earrings near a lotus pond. He had a pair of playful glassy blue eyes and fine golden hair that was short and curly. His unusual appearance adds more charm to him.

  He approached the troubled Song Cha Hua and picked up the missing earring. Song Cha Hua was delighted and asked for it. However, instead of giving it back, he threw the earring into the pond.

  "Useless pretty eyes. You must be at least good at swimming to fetch that." the young foreign boy chuckled and left. Song Cha Hua was angry at his attitude but she chose to keep it for herself.
