*OUT*
As the echo trailed off in the distance, I found myself confused. “How did I get here?” The st thing I could remember was tempering my ribs and then something about Pokemon moves...?
(Nope.) I was drawing a bnk. I can’t even remember how I got here. (Great. Now I'm stuck here, and I have no clue how I got in.) trying to remember anything else I could about Soul Sea's I stewed on it for a minute as my body started to drift through space. The only other things I could remember were they were retively hard to access, and it was necessary to cross a certain point in cultivation. Without access, you’d only be able to reach a point but never be able to pass it. What that point was... I can't remember.
Since it was such an important achievement it was probably needed to reach the Foundation stage and actually start the path. Then there's the fact this was different depending on the story.
Crossing my legs as I started drifting off into space, in both the metaphorical and literal sense, I was left with another question: "Why does it look like a cosmic void?"
To be fair, I don’t know what I should be expecting, these things always have different forms from one story to the next, but I don’t know, maybe something close to me? Or were the inner worlds created through a Zanpakuto different?
Considering I haven’t used it enough to cause any changes in the sword it's likely that nothing has had the ability to develop.
I’m not expecting something like the Ninetails’ cage, but where even is this? “Am I even in my head?”
*IN MY HEAD*
"Humm," (No that’s wrong, the st time I was in my head… everything was... fuzzy.)
I got a headache as I started remembering a white void with a strange object at its center over a month ago. (That’s right, I stabbed myself with the Stand arrow.) Shouldn’t this pce be more like that gray pne from when I got my Stand? And now that I remember that thing (Egg?) I found in my head. I’ve never been able to find it since. No matter how many times I’ve had Ki moving around my head in the st month, not once have I stumbled upon a faint trace of its existence (Freaky).
(If I’m not in my head, where am I?)
Looking out into the cosmic void as I floated aimlessly, I admired the rainbow of various colored specks. Notably, there were more red and silver specks than any other color. The purple and gold specks were the brightest. While the blue, green, yellow, and white, specks weren't as common or nearly as bright as the former colors.
(If these are Ki, then am I in my Dantian? How does that even work?) Why am I giving myself a headache? Also, how am I even getting a headache, isn’t this me just a thought form?
(I give.) Trying to think my way out of this is impossible. While they might be simir, I don’t think the Soul Sea is the same as the mental space you’d see in most anime. An inner world created by a Zanpakuto was also probably different as well. Even with all that established, it doesn’t help in getting me out.
Then there was my sword – to be fair I haven’t used it much… nor have I figured out how to awaken my Stand either. Since they weren't that important to my survival I have been neglecting them. While I have no idea what to do about the Stand, I should probably start keeping my sword on me.
Without much to stop me, I continued floating along staring out at the cosmic clouds. Wanting to move in a certain direction didn't work, nor did trying to move there actively. In the end, I gave up and just watched the cosmic formations I made by cpping my hands or swinging my limbs. Kicking up a tailwind or a dust devil, pulling colorful specks in various directions I could make beautiful nebus. No matter how small, my movements caused shifts in the colorful cosmic dust. There was something out there that I could faintly feel. What it was I couldn’t tell. But I seem to be floating vaguely in it's direction.
Time felt like a blur as I floated aimlessly, having gone upside down and right-side up dozens of times. I didn't feel my blood rushing to my head or any discomfort as I spun. But there was something new that I found, (are there two different colors of red?)
As I drifted the fainter colors seemed to start getting drowned out by red, with what looked to be two different shades. One I can only call Ranger Red while the other type was a more crimson blood red. Soon enough I was floating through more crimson specks than any other colors combined, I had entered a blood-colored nebu. Sometime after entering this bloody nebu, I started hearing a thumping sound.
*Badumb*
*Badumb*
*Badumb*
After what felt like several minutes of floating, I spotted something solid, a rge deep crimson object floating out in the middle of nowhere. (Is that…)
My speed began to pick up as I spotted a massive deep crimson baby sleeping peacefully surrounded by this deep crimson shroud of Ki, no longer the size of a fist, it was massive. I was probably about the size of one of its pinky fingers. Its heartbeat was steady and was the source of the thumping.
“HEEEYY!!!” I called out to my Bloodborn but to no response. Swinging my arms around, disturbing the rge crimson clouds also did nothing. Streaking past like a comet, it didn't even respond to my presence.
After passing Bloodborn my speed started to slow down once again. Soon enough, the number of crimson specks started to even out with the rest of the colors, and I was out of the Bloody Nebu.
Floating, Floating, Floating. (I'm getting sick and tired of Floating. Perhaps this is what I deserve, opening my Soul Sea without a clue of what I'm doing... Now that I think about it, since it's called the Soul SEA shouldn't this pce be filled with water? Ahh, the headache is back...)
I floated for who knows how long before coming across a new spectacle, a torrent of glittering Ki flowing off into the distance. Waving my arm I disturbed this strange formation, only for a brief moment before they gathered again flowing off like a stream into the distance. Soon enough I too was trapped, pulled in along with the other specks, flowing along this stream of Ki before arriving in a new glitter nebu.
All around were various glittering Ki specks all congealed together into several streams. Then some of these streams started to merge until only one was left. Riding this st stream I noticed the Ki specks started to shift to a golden color. It wasn't long before all the specks had turned golden.
Not only was the flow now gold even the nebu had turned gold, but the glitter nebu that flowed with a hodgepodge of various colors now, turned into one rge golden cosmic aurora.
It was a beautiful sight to behold, but as my sight narrowed off into the distance following the flow, I noticed, that across this golden stream were characters that I could deeply remember after having them etched into my mind permanently. They were the characters from the Lost Immortal Sutra, their meaning was lost in my ck of understanding. Or as a sutra, they didn't have any real meaning to begin with. They probably had something to say, what it was, I couldn't tell. (Something about magnetic fields?)
Unable to resist, I was passively pulled by the flow. I felt a strange sense of comfort as I was pulled along the golden stream.
Before I knew it, I blinked, “I’m back?” It ended just as mysteriously as it started.
I had returned to my cultivation room, sitting on the cushion with my legs crossed. But there were some differences. Physically nothing seemed to be amiss, just some dried sweat on my clothes. Mentally, however, not only did I passively feel the Ki flowing in my body I could faintly feel a reaction around me. Closing my eyes, focusing on this new feeling I could faintly feel the room around me. "Did I just develop a sixth sense?" Beyond this new feeling, I couldn't find anything else. I did notice how I had three types of Ki floating around in my body.
"Hey, you alive in there?" I asked my Bloodborn feeling a stirring within my abdomen. A fog of bloody energy was expelled before condensing into a child-shaped form. "How long was I out?" The bloody red child held out its hands counting fingers before holding up four fingers. "Four hours?" he gave a nod. In total, it was about 7 hours since I left, it's longer than I intended. Hopefully, no problems occurred at home...
When I crossed the screen and returned to the living room, I was greeted by an interesting encounter, Kuramon and the Porygon seemed to be arguing about something. After several minutes of interpreting Boop, beeps and AwA's, my best understanding was, Kuramon wanted to investigate the computer they had modified (now reaching version 7.4). While two of the Porygon were fine with its curiosity, two were not (the one that pecked me). On the Porygon side, three of them (aside from the first) wanted to continue modifying the remaining computers. Only to be stopped by a combined force from the eldest, the first Porygon, Beldum, and Kuramon. These three did their best to keep the others in check without resorting to violence, mainly by relying on Kuramon's 'Blood Eye' which caused the three to run around in a confused state. I had walked in just at the right time before they received another round of evil eye.
The solution was quite simple, "I can't have you doing it to every computer, especially not my main computer, (at least until I'm sure it functions properly and without issue), but the four in the corner are yours." Receiving my blessing the four returned to the ptop set up, having a small conversation amongst themselves in their strange nguage. Each cimed one of the computers before moving in.
Once they were gone, I gave Kuramon a pet and a steak "As for you, you can check out their work tomorrow." Once he was settled, I added a couple of magnets for Beldum. Both seemed quite satisfied with their rewards. Once they were taken care of, I picked up the white-shelled phone on the table adding two drops of blood, spawning my character, my stats didn't change nor were there any new items added.
I spent the rest of the evening with Kuramon and Beldum while grinding ants and skeletons.
