Ats slowly regained consciousness after a long while. The girl said cheerfully, “You’ve finally woken up from your hibernation!”

  Ats slowly got up and shot back, “Same goes for that brain of yours.” The girl gred at Ats if looks could kill, Ats would’ve been wiped off the map.

  Ats flinched in fear, and the girl sneered, “At least my brain works differently. With yours, I’m not even sure it does!”

  He started to feel unsure but quickly steadied himself. “Okay, if that’s what you think, then it’s time to stomp that prejudice of yours into the ground.”

  The girl rolled her eyes in irritation. “Fine,” she said, “Prove yourself then. Install a power cable.”

  Ats got to work at his own workbench, trying to install the cable… The lights in the room suddenly went out.

  Ats didn’t understand“ How do we turn the lights back on?”

  The girl snapped at him, “You really have the brains of a ten year old.” She slowly walked to the switch and pulled the lever up.

  The lights flickered back on and right at that moment, a teacher walked into the room. "What are you two doing here?”

  In panic, the girl dropped a wrench. Ats and the girl bolted, running endlessly until they finally stopped at the school gate.
