Slowly I made my way to the cave. I also noticed that the closer I got to the cave the stronger the urge to go into it. I contemplated for a second if it really was a good idea to go into the cave. before just running to it. Not giving me any time to 2nd guess myself anymore than I already have.

  As I entered the cave the air around me felt more profound and powerful, I slowly continued to advance through the cave. Listening to every tiny sound while trying to dampen my own steps and breaths. After a little while I realized I hadn't eaten yet because my stomach growled loudly. I was just about to sit down and eat when I also realized that the whole reason I am here is because some bullies stole my food and beat me black and blue.

  Just when I was thinking on how to get some food, I heard a low growl from my side and I immediately spun around.

  [GOBLIN]

  The goblin only had a wooden stick, so it should be doable. The goblin winds up his stick and aims for my head, I barely dodge to the side and in the proces am able to land a punch in its guts. The goblin got pushed to the ground, and I managed to give him a barrage of punches before I got a notification.

  Nice, I got a weapon! Now that I have already encountered 1 goblin. There are bound to be more. So I should be carefull. This time I was even more silent and careful than just a moment ago, I tried to evade all the goblins, and altho it worked with the first group I encountered. It didn't work on the 2nd group.

  One of the three goblins in the group spotted me and lunged at me immediately afterwards. It didn't have a stick so I managed to dodge it fairly easily. It overstepped and was off-balance so i swung my staff and threw it to the ground right as the 2nd goblin came at me with the 3rd one not far behind. I dodged the 2nd one and parried the 3rd one, they were stumbling around after their failed attacks so I took advantage of that to hit them both in their chest.

  While the two goblins were falling to the ground, the first 1 got back up and charged at me. This time I wasn't able to dodge and claw marks were very visible on my arms as I tried to block the goblin. The cuts were not very deep so I was able to finish off the first goblin with a hard blow to the head.

  Shitty reward aside, I still had two alive goblins to kill. After I took out the first goblin the other 2 became enraged at me, and lunged at me voraciously. I managed to dodge one but the other one left gashes on my side, i turned around and hit the goblin with my staff, i kept the momentum of the hit going and killed the last goblin.
