Awakening in Visrotte: The MMO Odyssey Chapter 0 Introductions

Vincent Howard smmed his college textbook shut with a heavy sigh, the dense equations and algorithms swirling before his eyes. The digital clock on his desk read 3 AM, casting a cold, bluish light into the otherwise dark room. He rubbed his tired eyes and gnced at his phone, which buzzed insistently with a notification from the app store. An update for a game called "Endless Evernd Mobile" caught his attention. It was a port of the cssic MMO that had swallowed countless hours of his youth, and he couldn't resist the urge to check it out.

With a click, he downloaded the game and opened it to find his old character, Jason Thorn, still there, frozen in time. The familiar smell of microwave pizza wafted from the kitchen as he logged in and felt a nostalgic pang in his heart. The login screen faded to bck, and the game's music swelled in his ears, pulling him into a world of adventure and escape. But little did he know, this wasn't just a nostalgic trip down memory ne.

Vincent's eyes grew heavy, his head nodded, and he slipped into a deep slumber, the glow of the screen fading to darkness. When he awoke, it was to the stark whiteness of a void, and he was no longer in his room. Panic began to set in as he realized he was in the game, but something was off. The armor that once gleamed with digital grandeur now felt flimsy and dull. His stats, once a proud dispy of his gaming prowess, had been reduced to a shadow of their former selves.

Before he could fully process the absurdity of his situation, a soft voice echoed through the emptiness. "Are you...are you real?" A figure materialized, a blond elf girl dressed in tattered robes, her eyes wide with astonishment. She looked as lost and confused as he felt. "What's happening? I pyed the game too, and now I'm here. How did we get here?" she asked, her voice trembling. Vincent took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts. This was beyond any glitch or VR experience he'd ever heard of.

The sudden appearance of Archangel Basta and Seraphim Galgo was awe-inspiring and terrifying. Their divine forms filled the void, and their voices boomed like thunder. They spoke of a world called Visrotte, and how the games they knew were mere simutions of this new reality. The revetion that their lives had been preserved, plucked from the brink of death, left a bittersweet taste in Vincent's mouth. He had so many questions, but the angels were clear - there was no going back.

The elf girl, who introduced herself as Luna, had also been summoned from the brink of her own demise. Her eyes searched his, looking for a sembnce of understanding in his own. They were both in this together, two digital refugees in a world of magic and myth. The angels offered them a choice of starting locations, and Jason's mind raced. The Great Forest of Melinda, fifty-six kilometers west of Galtra City, sounded like a pce ripe with adventure and opportunity to rebuild.

With a heavy heart, he said goodbye to Luna, knowing that their paths would likely cross again in this vast world. She chose the bustling Eastern Kingdoms, a pce of commerce and culture. As they parted, Jason felt the weight of his decision settle upon him. He was truly alone in a new world, with nothing but his wits and a second chance at life. He took a step into the shimmering portal that opened before him, feeling the warm embrace of the Great Forest of Melinda envelop him, and the cold digital void of his old life fade away. The air smelled of pine and earth, the crunch of leaves underfoot a stark contrast to the soft carpet of his college dorm. This was real. This was home now. The adventure of a lifetime had just begun, and it was up to him to make the most of it.
