Kenji
I entered an arena of sorts. Well, more like an outdoor simulation. There wasn't much here, some trees and rocks. Sand on the ground and a few other plants. The walls were plain concrete. There was a room far enough upstairs for spectators and the birth attendants. They sat safely behind glass. I saw a chestnut long hair. Iruka. I smiled and waved to him. He immediately stuck to the glass and waved back. He's a freak. I chuckled and began to focus on the slowly opening door across from me. My opponent was coming.
A guy about the same height with purple hair walked in. He had dark blue eyes and fully red lips or was that lipstick? He was wearing what I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. So what more do you want to take when guns are banned.
We both made it to the middle of the arena where the referee was waiting for us.
"Here are the rules, guys: No guns. You cannot mortally wound your opponent. The fight is over if one surrenders or is unable to continue fighting. Do you understand?"
We both just nodded. Neither of us smiled. Why should we? We both have the same dream and therefore must destroy the other.
"Then shake hands and let's get started."
I squeezed his hand tightly.
Oh, he's got a grip.
That'll make it easy. He can't control his thoughts, but I'll save my manipulative ability for someone else just in case. This is about showing what magic I can do. Anyone who knows my family knows we're invincible at manipulation.
We've taken a step back from each other and taken an offensive stance. That started it.
"Lullaby pollen!"

With a wave of his hand.
I waved my hand to ward off his spell. The wind is on my side.
What's that? He just deflected it!? My strongest spell... I'll have to do it another way...
That was the strongest spell? It was. Unfortunately, my friend, I hear your thoughts and I know what your next move will be. I'm just gonna win this one.
He's running against me. So, fistfight. Okay. All right, let's go. I blocked his right hand and kicked him in the stomach. The oxygen left his lungs loudly.
"That's not gonna work either." I whispered triumphantly.
"It will. Green magic!"
"What?"
A green shimmer from his hands hit me and I flew two meters away. I coughed and slowly stood up.
"I know who you are. So I have to watch my thoughts." He stated disdainfully, preparing for the next spell.
"Leaf Storm."
I stepped to the side and nimbly picked myself up. That's it. I'm bored of this.
"Ring of Fire."
Fire surrounded him. Well done. I gathered from his spells that he only controls the earth. That's not enough for me. Or so I thought. The flames began to sway and gradually die out. So he's controlling the air, too.
I jumped onto a branch for cover and to think of my next move. It doesn't look like it, but it's pretty good. But not enough to make me give up. I jumped out of my hiding place and attacked.
"Water pump."
Tons of water left my palms and ended up on purple hair. His shield couldn't take it and he slammed into the wall. He was out.
LJo!" I cheered quietly, waiting for the referee's verdict. He just stared at Yushin for a moment to see if he would wake up. He knew. He turned around and just with his slight smile gave me a clear indication of my theory.
"Kenji Samaro vs Ten Yushina. The winner is Kenji Samaro!"
I looked up. I saw Iruka cheering and I couldn't help but cheer as well. I mean, I wasn't jumping like a madman like Iruka, but I had a genuine smile of joy on my face.
"Congratulations, Mr. Samara." The referee complimented me and shook my hand.
"Thank you very much." I shook it and shook it hard.
Meanwhile, Ten had woken up. He had a nurse with him, but he manfully batted her away and got to his feet himself. I walked over to him with a serious expression. We fought for a while more using our serious expressions, but I relented. I had already beaten him once. I bowed deeply.
"It was an honor to fight with you." I said and straightened up again.
Yushina bowed as well.
"Me too. Your family must be proud of you."
I just smiled. Well, depending on who. I said to myself and left. I passed my second test. I can't think of a better feeling than success.
