"Alright class I know you are all bored and want to leave already but we still have a little more to go, so sit up straight and focus"
ms. Aiden said with a loud voice to get the class's attention, it worked but not for nyx as he was preoccupied with something else.

Nyx just stared at the interference that suddenly popped up in front of him, confused about what he should do, after some debating in his mind nyx made up his mind and sat up calling to his teacher.
"ms. Aiden, can I ask for early leave I don't feel good and think I might be hallucinating"
stoping what he was doing ms. Aiden turned to look at nyx questioningly.

"ye but I still don't feel good, besides there are only ten minutes left until school ends"
looking at nyx with a pressuring gaze ms. Aiden sighed.

sighing a breath of relief nyx quickly packed his bag and left while thanking his teacher.

when nyx left the class started to copy his method, ms. Aiden just groaned with an incoming headache.
racing home was fairly easy for nyx, he was always a fast and energetic kid, his whole family was but he was more so than others.
opening his house's front door nyx rushed to his room and locked the door.

Staring blankly nyx suddenly jumped out of bed with quick stretches and went to change to clothes more fitting for the woods.
"My siblings should be coming home any moment now, I'll check on mom and then leave"
Getting out of his room nyx went to his parent's room where his mother was most likely sleeping and shook her awake.
"Hey mom I am leaving and will be back later, do you need anything"
" Hmm hmm sweetie, no I'm good thanks, just check on your baby siblings and see if they alright"

Closing the door gently nyx went and check on his baby siblings, opening the door just a crack nyx checked to see if they were alright, seeing that all six were sleeping soundly nyx smiled warmly, when all of them were born the doctors were sceptical they would all survive but look at them now, all sleeping healthy with no defects to report.
getting into the woods was easy enough, they had a forest next to their town, finding a place no one would find to test his skill was the tricky part, but luckily after about two to three hours, he found a good spot with a creek nearby.
"Alright let's do this, how do I transform"
"ok, wait let me calm down, hehehe I'm too excited right"
taking deep breaths nyx was slowly getting calm, yet it seems that the wide smile on his face just wouldn't go away.

Nyx suddenly had this bashful look on his face.

done with his questions for now nyx got ready and put his full focus on what's happening with his body, noticing this the system started the transformation.
while wondering when the transformation will happen nyx suddenly felt his jaws elongate, his hands and feet shift with claws growing out of them, he become hunched and stood on all fours while fur started to grow on him, they felt like prickles, or goosebumps running along his entire body, after a few seconds the transformation ended.
'huh, it wasn't as painful as I thought'
looking around nyx saw the creek he found when he came here, wanting to take a look at himself nyx started to try and walk his way there, it was not hard, he felt that he could control this wolf body as good as his human body as if there was no difference between both bodies.

nyx wasn't wrong, he really did look like a handsome wolf in human and wolf standards, he had piercing blood-red shining eyes, and fur that was darker than night, he had a lush mane for protecting his neck that complemented his five feet tall body size along with long legs and a big tail to help with balance and turning while running very fast,
after about two to three minutes nyx stopped staring at his reflection.
nyx got started but calmed down when he knew it was the system that spoke.
"*wolf noises"
'huh, oh right my vocal cords changed I can't speak human language, I wonder if the system could read my mind.

'ohhh nice I get some boosts to my physical stats, hmmm I'm guessing that each point in VIT and END gives me ten for HP and SP, and soul gives me five for mana, but how fast can I regain mana with seven mind.
oh well that's good to know, hmmm I want to run, I feel running, I don't know why but I really want to run, doesn't matter where I just need to run'

and run he did, nyx started with a slow jogging speed but as the air rushed into his lungs through his snouts he started speeding up, only after a minute he was running with all his might, breathing in as much air as could, he was feeling euphoric, nyx felt as if he took the strongest drug there was, he just could not stop running, he was absolutely intoxicated, he beat the dirt with his paws trying to run faster and faster, the tree slowly turned into a blure as kept going faster and faster,he reached his peack at fifty miles per hour.
it was only after hours that he stopped running because of exhaustion, but his tail was still wagging enthusiastically wanting to run again, looking up he saw that it was night time and the moon was out, a full moon at that,
'what, what is this feeling, I suddenly want to'
taking in as much air as he could manage nyx let out the loudest and longest howl he could possibly make, his howl was filled with his emotions of excitement and wonder traveling so far it reached the forest border startling many bystanders and campers, his howl was deep and gave people the feeling they were being stalked by a predator, it echoed for a bit before stopping.
