This is bad ..., my virtual stomach hurts. After throwing up breakfast which I don't even remember eating in some corner near a large rock, I feel refreshed. I peeked from behind the rock, a stray arrow flew right into my face at high speed.
Luckily the arrow missed its target.
That arrow, if it managed to hit me then maybe I'll be one of these corpses. I hid behind a large rock trying to calm my ragged breath. This is too much for me, I can feel the adrenaline rush inside my body. This is probably my first almost death experience, though it's only in a game.
A paragraph full of information filled my vision.
That's not important! I am in the middle of a crazed battlefield! Damn it, did this game have an option to filter the blood and gore? Ah, in the setting there's that option.
After I activated it, the battlefield becomes less bloody. When NPC hit the others, the blood didn't come out and a polygon with light particle out from it. This game becomes more feasible for my weak mind.
Okay, move to the next problem! Where's the log out button?
Damn it! I can't skip the tutorial! Fine ..., so what now?
I desperately tried to use the menu, I opened up the inventory window.
Damn it! Of course, it's empty! I just started the game, and this is the Tutorial Ground! But why I have no equipment to defend myself in this chaotic situation?
Uh, wait a minute ..., equipment?
I glanced at the corpse on my right side. A teenager that got dragged into this war ended up getting himself killed. His armor was decent, he wore pikemen helmet on the head, a chain mail within the blue padded cloth and trousers with leather boots. A pike -I don't remember what should I call this type of polearm is- the tip looks like a crossed spear. I think it's called partizan or something.
Yes, those are also equipment!
Without further ado, I walked into the corpse of the NPC young man and looted its equipment. I donned up the armor and wield his weapon. This is the first time I held a spear. But I don't think it's any different from a pole. I've trained using toya -a 180 cm staves used in Silat- for training martial art moves. But never once I used it in a real fight.
I move forward to find White soldiers. This is nothing personal, I choose this side because the corpse near me is Blues.
Sounds good enough. Well, let's gain some exp point.
In the middle of this chaotic battlefield, there's a large number of small battles. The troop was disorganized while the General was in some kind of duel or something. Not like I care about the whole battle in the first place though. I found my prey. It's not that hard to find the most suitable kill, I can see an exhausted soldier from the white side panting his breath 50 meters on my west.
I sneaked my way into one of the exhausted white soldiers. Sometime before, he was fighting three soldiers from the blue side. Surprisingly he won over them with much difficulty. But right now he was standing trying to catch his breath. I jumped and rotate in the air, with the Toya Art I learned from Pencak silat, I smashed his head with the sharp end of the pike.
The system calculated the damage I just dealt with this white soldier. It took some millisecond before a series of numbers appeared from the place where I hit.
A rather great number. I recalled that this Javadvipa race had basic Attack of 2,5 ..., was it because of my equipment? But the soldier wasn't dead yet. He screamed in agony after receiving my attack. I used this opportunity to attack him mercilessly. I swung my pike, slapped his helmet and then pierce the pointed tip at the face.
Spoken by a female voice. Unlike robotic feminine voice like A.I sha, but a melodious voice actress that as if she just come out from popular anime.
Ohh .., well, I don't have time for manual looting for now as this place is full of stray arrow and javelin throw here and there. For now, I'll do with auto looting. A blinding light emerged from the white soldier's body and it disperses into tiny light particles. Three items dropped from that light particles. A pouch, a yellow gem, and a bottle. I pick up those items and read the item description.

I also auto-looted the blue soldier corpse and got another Gem Fragment with various colors and some other Common items. My Inventory filled with six-item type by then. Ah, if the same item if its non-storage item then in the inventory it will automatically be stacked up to 9 of the same item. That's why even if I get 12 items from the auto-loot, in the inventory it occupies six inventory slots. Pity that I can't get better equipment from these four corpses.
I killed my way. Finding lone exhausted white soldier. I killed them with a sneak attack. Maybe I'll develop some kind of assassin skill if I master this kind of attacking pattern. I avoided the group or troop that still has its own momentum. I will die if I dare to fight them head-on.
I hunt and my kill count reached 20. I also leveled up twice. I allocated the 8 points into strength, constitution, and dexterity. But strange ... why there's no further tutorial instruction? Did I really have to survive on this battlefield?
When I thought about that, a window pop out and blocking my vision.
Is the content of the notification window. Why don't you say it from the start that you need me to try the two methods of looting?
I squatted beside the shining white soldier corpse that I defeated. I began rummaging his clothes and searching for treasure. If this is really a war, me doing something like this is a stupid thing. I will be an easy target to attack. But, no ..., it seems they didn't care about my being here. As if they ignored my presence as when I was in junior high school. This is perfect!
Ooh ..., this is? In my hand, there's a beautiful sapphire necklace.
Ohhh ... oh! Equipment that added over four attributes! And skill! I immediately wore it. I could feel strength ran through my body.
My magic-based attributes enhanced. But ..., come to think of it, I haven't yet learned any spell. Ah, forget it. I don't know how to learn it.
I took the shining armor and stored it inside my inventory. His armor differed from ordinary footmen, he wore a better quality. I bet it worth fortune so I take it. I don't have any idea to wear it though. I stick with the blue side from now.
What a cheapskate! I can use it in this tutorial ground, but afterward, I must re-learn it? What a black-hearted tutorial.
I'm not using a sword or slashing weapon. Even though spear could also be used as a slashing weapon, piercing is spear forte. So a no-no for the S3. Iron Wall, it's a shielder skill, and I'm not a one. I choose Aspect of Gravity since my Magic Attack and Intelligence enhanced with Aqua Urania.
I want to try it. This skill. Where is it, where's a white armored soldier?
I looked around and in the Stonehenge-like stone's arrangement. I saw six blue soldiers surrounded by white soldiers with a thrice amount of the blues. There is a soldier from the blue side who is the flag-bearer. The other five were protecting the flag-bearer with all of their might.
Perfect! I leaped at those groups.
