Buzzing with excitement and questions, Oliver quickly peers into the depths of the gem space. Sure enough, he spots a small sapling, surrounded by Ygg, the star tree, starlight grass, and other plant deities, swaying its leaves like it’s greeting or paying respects to him.
“Ma… Master, hello!”
The sapling lets out a timid voice.
This newborn soul curiously sizes up Oliver, the lord of this world.
No doubt about it—this is the “first life” mentioned on the stat panel.
The first being born in Oliver’s world with its own will.
Oliver can feel it—its soul vibe syncs crazy high with the gem space. Its potential’s off the charts!
Even though it’s just a sapling, barely 10,000 kilometers tall, it’s already hit a wild level 8.
“Little guy, you got a name?”
Oliver gently brushes its leaves with his soul power. The sapling shakes with joy and glee.
“Master, Ygg and the others call me ‘little guy.’ Is that my name?”
“Haha, that’s just a nickname. Alright, from now on, your name’s… Primordius!”
“Primordius… Primordius! Thank you, Master, I love it!”
The sapling wiggles its branches like a gust of wind’s hitting it, thrilled.
At this growth rate, it might not be long before it’s fighting side by side with Oliver.
With that thought, Oliver starts hunting for this so-called World Egg.
But he quickly realizes the World Egg isn’t in the gem space.
It’s outside!
Yup—the Chaos Gem itself has changed!
The Chaos Gem used to be solid gray, impossible to see inside.
But now, Oliver notices it’s gone through a jaw-dropping shift—it’s semi-transparent. You can faintly make out countless green plants, planets, and continents inside.
[World Egg: The proto-universe has taken shape. The Chaos Gem has become the World Egg, carrying the potential to wield the Authority of Creation!]
[Authority of Creation 1: Genesis Rift—tear space to form a micro-world within a 500-million-kilometer radius. You’ll have dominion and control over that space.]
[Authority of Creation 2: Unknown. The World Egg hasn’t hatched yet, so this authority remains locked.]
…
Holy crap, Authority of Creation?
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
Just the name screams badass!
He’s scored something insane this time!
The Chaos Gem’s SS-tier for a reason—as it keeps powering up, the perks Oliver’s getting are wilder by the day.
This Genesis Rift authority? Straight-up a killer combat skill.
In a fight, if he traps an enemy in his Genesis Rift domain, the suppression’s gonna be terrifying!
Hyped as hell, Oliver fires up the Chaos Gem and aims it at the endless Chaos Fire Sea, giving the skill a test run!
“Genesis Rift!”
He roars, and a surging wave of power explodes from the Chaos Gem—or rather, the World Egg—in front of him.
Boom!
In a flash, an invisible force spreads out.
The raging Chaos Fire Sea seems to freeze for a split second before rolling again.
On the surface, the fire sea looks no different from before.
But Oliver feels a massive shift.
He can sense that within about 500 million kilometers of this space, everything—every last bit—is his to control and mess with at will.
To be specific, with a flick of his soul, Oliver can make those flames burn, die out, or twist into any shape he wants!
Boom!
Under his command, the endless fire sea’s countless flames suddenly gather, forming a colossal humanoid.
A terrifying fire giant—way bigger than Oliver’s current 4.4-million-kilometer body, pushing 8 million kilometers—pops up outta nowhere!
‘Course, this fire giant’s just big. Its actual combat power’s nowhere near Oliver’s. It’s just a humanoid he shaped from regular flames—not a real deity.
And it’s not just that—Oliver can manipulate more than the nearby flames. The space itself, the chaos energy, all of it bends to his will!
“I’m the god of this space—its master!”
Too strong!
Is this the power of Genesis Rift?
The Authority of Creation’s unreal.
In that moment, Oliver’s already brainstorming ways to use it.
Siccing fire giants on enemies, using space and omnipresent chaos energy to lock foes down—that’s just the basics.
The real kicker? He could even pose as a higher-level deity!
Right now, this massive fire giant’s appearance is shaking up the whole Chaos Fire Sea zone.
Tons of adventuring deities nearby are freaking out, yelling in panic and awe, wondering why a beast this scary showed up.
To them, this fire giant’s real strength feels like it’s pushing level 20, maybe 25!
No clue yet how this kind of bluff could come in handy, but it feels like it’s got big potential.
Oliver messes around with it a bit longer, satisfied, before dropping the Genesis Rift.
After this test, he clocks that using the Authority of Creation takes a toll.
He ran it for about 10 minutes and burned through roughly 300,000 kilometers of his body’s flesh.
Not a huge cost, but not something he can spam either.
“Whether it’s Bloodreaver or the Authority of Creation, they both need flesh as fuel. If I could master a rune for quick body recovery, that’d be sweet,”
Truth is, Oliver’s Life Rune can heal, but his grip on it’s shallow—only good for one use in a pinch, with limited recovery.
“Guess I gotta find a chance to dive deeper into the Life Rune…”
Oliver mulls, his gaze flicking back to the World Egg.
“This time, tossing in the Chaos Embers and metal rune orb leveled up the gem space and hooked me up with crazy perks. And it’s only at +7! If it hits 8, or even 9, what kind of goodies’ll that bring?”
Oliver licks his lips, hyped, and looks past the fire sea to where the water palace sits.
He came to the water palace in the first place, guided by the wishing bottle, hunting for the Water primal rune.
Now he’s level 15, combat strength jacked up another tier.
Time to hit the water palace and have a chat with that water giant, Aegir.
But what he doesn’t expect? Right as he steps out of the Chaos Fire Sea, he spots a gang of deities camped out at the edge.
The second they see him, the lead goat-headed deity grins wide. “Hey, big snake deity! We’re from the water palace—we’ve been waiting for you forever!”
