The Prisoners we released served a useful purpose. They stormed the city, taking out many of the Reds, and other groups, taking the city back from the Gellys. Now that the Corpos were gone from the city, the only thing left standing in our way was the Asencion css ship hanging low over the city. It’s shadow covered us all in more than darkness.
Lucky, I had a pn that would expel the Gellys and make Meowlith Prime a haven for Anthros for decades to come. At least I hoped it would.
We all sat around the sit-rep table, Sucker tapping away on her keyboard with a direct purpose. The Meowtws on one side, the Yiffin crew on the other. Speck was healed as well as he could be; covered in bandages and some drugs being pumped into his system, which was for the best. If he knew Gabriel was here, he would probably rip the ex-Gelly’s head from his body.
Mama was mostly healed as well. Sitting down next to Yami, the bck Anthro-Cat with a spunky attitude. Mama had taken him under her wing recently and the two meshed well together. I couldn’t help but think she had an emotional attachment to the young man, using him as a pce holder for her own children.
Redwood was fidgeting away next to Uwu and Walter. He was needed to assist in this mission as he had a knack for youts, design, and engineering. Walter was just being Walter, huffing and puffing about some random shit.
Echo was next to me, nestling his prized shotgun. His slight wounds were healed up. Ash was pushed up against me, resting her head on my shoulder. Slizz was working overtime in the hospital wing. I think she liked it. It was giving her numerous bodies to experiment on without worry of the Captain.
Noodle was off pnning her parent funeral, setting up a wake for them. She needed to grieve and let loose her emotions.
Yeti was across the table, tapping his foot as he listened to some reports from Azura about the city. Some of the prisoners started their own groups to try and take some small section of the city, but were soon to be dealt with. Dutch stood behind him as always, holding her massive Splicer.
Gabriel was locked away somewhere tight, guarded at all times. He was our ace in the hole. The one piece we needed to enact my pn and bring this war to an end. I hadn’t much time to catch up with him. We exchanged a few words about our time since we st met. He seemed to change his life around, and had helped a great deal of people at his own detriment. I was amazed and inspired by his turn-around. He did what he said he would, finding his own future.
Now it was our time to make our own future.
Yeti stood, “Alright fucks new and old, let’s get down to business. Sucker…” he gestured over to out tech gal.
“The Acension css ship, a massive dreadnaught in the Gellical navy. Enough firepower to level the city and turn this whole area into a crater. Saint Admerial Michael the Pious is at the captain’s helm, running the show. There are approximately ten thousand Gellys aboard, including guns, dropships, fighters, and such. With my calcutions, about two thousand have perished in the ensuing battles with the Corpo elements and the Meowtws. Many stations will be unmanned or stressed to the max. We will still have to deal with Missionaries and Bishops who will most likely be guarding Michael with all their might. Here is the youts of the ship. As you can see, it is a maze.”
“And that’s where the Yiffins come in.” Yeti turned to me, “It’s your pn, Vixie, how about you run us through it”
I smiled, my time to shine. I stood up pointing at the many twists and turns throughout the ship, “Redwood here is going to memorized the ship yout. The rest of you coming along, do your best, but we will defer direction to Redwood. Now, using Gabriel as a bargaining chip with the Gellys, we will be able to board the Ascension ship with ease. Now, there will be massive guns in the hanger pointed right at the Yiffin II, so we can’t make and drastic choice and storm the ship with force. We will need to take a force to Michael to meet with him in person. Antoher force will need to break off and push to the control room. We will need Ash and Dutch’s splicers in case they try to close in with bulkheads.”
Uwu spoke up, “What’s the point of this break away?”
“Team one kills Michael the Pious, dealing a major blow to the Gellys, team two turns off all life support systems expect for where Team one and two are, effectively killing the rest of the Gellys without a massive battle of attrition.”
“Fuck yeah!” Yeti stood cpping his hands, “My kind of girl, you sure you don’t want to join the Meowtws?”
“Seems a bit, excessive, to kill them all…” Mama looked around to find agreeance.
Speck hissed at her, “Look at what they’ve done to the city, to our kind, and you think that is excessive? Please, save your mercy for those who care.” His chest was heaving up and down deeply now. “Beyond killing all the Gellys, this sounds like a suicide mission.”
“Only to those to weak to carry it out.” I snapped back at him, watching his eyes narrow as I challenged him. “It will be tough. Lots of Gellys. Missionaries will be roaming about, but without this mission, we will all be stuck here until supplies run out. Maybe Earth government comes, maybe some Corpos, but what then? We will be overrun and taken right back to where we started. All of this for nothing.”
I looked around at all the faces, gazing at me with different emotions. “We do this, and we take the ascension ship for ourselves. The Meowtws get their very own fgship, capable of fighting off any other force in the gaxy. They can then cim their autonomy and get back to making a pce for all Anthros.”
Echo gasped, “Damn. Our own ascension ship…” He looked around in disbelief.
“Well, our ship.” Yeti chimed in, “This will be the ballsiest thing we’ve ever done. And as Vixie said, once we run out of supplies, we’re fucked. Try to keep a bunch of hungry masses in line. We only have enough supplies for another two weeks, and that’s if nothing changes.”
Uwu stood, “Alright, let’s do it. Redwood, memorize those pns, you’re going with us. Walter, get our ship ready to go. Hopefully it’s still in once piece. The rest of you suit up, arm up, and say any st goodbyes you need to. Dismissed.”
The group dispersed, headed out to whatever they needed to do.
Uwu took my hand and pulled me close, “I don’t like the pn, but it’s all we can do. Go speak to the ‘asset’ and make sure he knows what he’s getting into. I don’t want any loose ends killing the crew, or you.”
I kissed him, pulling my arms up over his neck, “Will do, Captain. You just make sure the Yiffin and it’s crew are ready to go. I’ll take care of the rest.” I took off to where Gabreil was being held. I don’t think he would enjoy the new much, but he didn’t have a choice. He was going to end this war one way or another.
