Here is a rundown about the whole working system of the tunnel: the first and third tunnels are much deeper and lower than the second tunnel. Previously, the drilling machine was supposed to go in a straight line, but stopped to continue because of its inability the drill through hard material or because the supply for parts of the drill was still on its ways. So rather then wait for the supplier to arrive and waste resources, a huge change in pns had to be made, and the two paths diverged from the main tunnel, thus creating the first (which would be called the second but changed afterwards) and third tunnel.
When the supply delivery did arrive, the mechanic crew got to work on repcing dull parts to that of sharp and sturdy parts that would not crumble so easily. Behind schedule, the drill went to work.
Continuing the work, there were still some drawbacks. Okay, yes, the drill is able to penetrate the hardness of the walls but it was slow. So much so that when the drill had reached a checkpoint, the other tunnels had far reached where the original tunneling was at. For instance, the two tunnels were under the original tunnel and made its way circling the rge deposits of minerals. That said of minerals, the tunnelling is made to unveil a huge deposits of minerals hidden within the depths of a mountain.
Given evidence to stick workers and equipment focused there by mineralogy, terrain, and geographical specialists, this was the spot to where they will find troubles of their mining operations come to be rewarded. It was only a matter of time before they uncover what they are looking for and make a rge discovery for the mine.

The emergency lever was pulled down. In less than a second, the activation from the lever sent a signal, connected through multiple wires pinned to the top sides of the tunnels, the signals made its way to the other two routes of the tunnels.
Third Tunnel.
BBBBRRRRMMMMMM!
An alerting sound broke out of the many sirens stationed to the sides. The sirens, though loud and cranky, impressed some of the workers but didn't really clear out its meaning.
"What's going on?!"
"I don't know about you but after that earthquake, I don't like where this is going."
Then someone finally had the balls to stand up.
""Everyone, we have to evacuate. This sirens don't just go off for nothing, and if I'm being honest we should act quickly."
"I agree, everyone we have to go. Leave everything and move quickly now!"
The workers pushed aside their hesitation and leapt into motion like rushing winds trying exit get through a tight squeeze. For them to get out, the way for that will take sometime, maybe less than an hour or so, but they were all determined. Like who wouldn't be.
~~~~~~
First Tunnel. 25 minutes ter.
When the emergency lever was pulled, the sirens didn't go off in this part of the tunnel. The emergency system should for this specific warnings was not old that the wires didn't do the job of transferring signals. No, it was the opposite. The wires were fairly new (only need five years in use). So what was the cause. The problem, is unknown.
"Damn, that earthquake really did a number on me, man."
"Likewise, man. My ass hurts real bad."
As these workers talked and joked, there were other workers that still went on with the operation.
One worker - checking a list of papers on board - felt an unsettling chill that blew pass him. "Ahhh, what was that?" He shivered and turned to where the feeling caught his attention to grow wry.
He called then.
"Hey Gubu."
"Yeah," Gubu answered. "What is it?"
"I'm picking something unusual here," the worker he walked over to the crack in the wall of rocks. "Know anything about that?" He stopped, turned his head slight, and asked.
Gubu who is mechanic was checking the drill with others to see if there weren't damages done to the machine. He jumped off the machine and ran to where the worker was at.
"What is it, Shun?"
"There is a crack in the wall. I'm no expert in this, but," he leaned in close, "You do fee that right."
Gubu the mechanic then soon followed up and leaned in closer to have a go and make up his own assumption. "Yeah, I do. It kinda feels like -"
Before Gubu could fairly and accurately grasp at what his gut was telling him, there was a stop to his thoughts, and then a huge gust of wind blew through the crack and past the two workers. And with the wind came an echo that sounded alien like almost that of a growl. Grrrrr!
"What the?" One spoke and not long - Boom!
Something emerged from the crack at high speed and when appeared, carried a shocking force so immense that the tunnel had come to a devastating colpse. It covered the pce with smoke and dust. Everything was covered. None could say a thing. It was absolute. An instant that not a single one could react to.
~~~~~~
Intersection of routes. Third tunnel worker have appeared.
Th ground shook like crazy.
"Alright everybody we're almost there."
"Run, just keep on running!"
The workers ran as fast they could.
At the entry point of the tunnel, the supervisor looked closer, squinting his eyes. He saw them.
"I see them!" He called.
The mechanic saw it too, "What are they doing? They're are running, but why?"
The mechanic would soon find out when the calm ground rumbled, then erupted.
"What's, going on!!!" He said unsure of what to make of it but he had a bad feeling, and then looked at the supervisor with opened eyes.
"RUN, COME ON!" the supervisor shouted. He shouted to the workers that were running. "COME ON, COME ON!" He repeated his words in some way distressed.
The news crew also stayed behind to catch the action taking pce. Alice stood firm. She didn’t know what to make of it - it made less sense to her. She didn't know much, but when the supervisor screamed like that, something really wrong was about to happen. Not in the good way.
"Are you getting this," Alice told Luna.
"Yeah," she answered which she held camera high and stable to capture the footage.
As the workers ran to safety, they were almost there.
Almost. But not enough that there lives would be granted safety.
At the deep parts of the tunnels the workers left behind, that something that broke through the first tunnel, was moving at high speed. It couldn't be seen. The dust and smoke hindered its appearance. So what they saw was a speeding storm of dust particles. In an instant, the workers were engulfed in it, that the storm blew the tunnel entry like a bang that rippled through the mountain. BOOOOFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!
Alice.
Luna.
The supervisor.
The mechanic.
They were all sent flying in the air for a brief second before tumbling to the ground. Accompanying the explosion (a one of kind), pieces of solids either rock, wood, or metal nded the same as the four individuals, shredded into various smaller pieces.
~~~~~~
"Awwhhh," Alice grunted. She felt pain. She was still on the ground, body ft, head spinning, and parts of her body slight bruised. She looked up and she could not believe what she was seeing.
Now and behold: a monstrous giant in sight.
Standing at the height of 25 school buses and the width of 15 buses, the giant had the skin of a reptilian (only rger and complex) with protruding bones appearing on the body. Smaller ones at the front and rger ones at the back as well as huge tail.
The dust settled and reptilian giant could be seen much clearer. To be frank, this monster was like the monster from that one Japanese show. A monster born of nuclear waste.
The fear of big things (heightphopia) has consumed Alice. She remained still. Her body frozen. Her breathing reaction, rapid - unstable.
There, still as a leaf, Alice watched the giant monster grew ever closer. Each steps are heard, stomping, sweeping through the ground, nd nding on impact with a big push of force. BBBFFFFFF! Slow and at a rough pace, one step had covered a footprint as big as bus.
Nearing to certain death, Alice had been petrified. 'Am I going to die, here?' Will she?
She then felt a touch, then shook her. Broken from the petrified stare, she looked up and saw a man.
"GET UP!" The man exaggerated loudly.
She took the man's hand as support and she lifted herself from the ground. She did it fast and strong. What they did now the man spoke for it clearly.
"RUN, NOW!" He said stly.
Alice listen to heart and so ran.
Miners and workers who exited the mining shaft and those that worked outside the pit on the mining site could not believe their eyes for what they were seeing. They were terrified. The excavators and trucks that were close to the cave are crushed, smashed, and some even are blown away and nd on unsuspecting victims. The people ran for their dear lives.
One worker who was operating a crane was still on the cockpit and an unfortunate turn from the monster's gaze had led him to his doom. When the worker thought he was safe from the danger, the giant monster swinged its right limb to the crane. The crane got cut in half; the iron pilrs, crumbled. And the worker met an instant death.
The fleeing workers pushed against each other. Some fell, some bumped, and some punched.
The giant monster roared. GRRRR-HRRRR-VHHH!
Where Alice was running was somewhere to cover. She met Luna on the way and they both along with the supervisor and mechanic alongside them.
They ran and found cover behind a truck.
But what they did, didn't stop the pursuit of the giant monster. It was catching close. Were they safe? Are they going to be safe? Alice wondered as she watched monster close in. Just then as she was watching, something exploded on the head of the monster. BOOM!
The monster screamed in agony - GGRRRRRVVVV!
"What was that?" Alice asked, awestruck and surprised.
The explosion to the head was not the st. More and more explosion appeared at the right side of the monster. BOOM! (x20)
Alice looked to her right corner where the firing came from and she was taken back. The explosions weren't happening spontaneously but were from individuals firing long range shots at the giant monster. These man were mounted vehicles of bck and grey, and fired rounds of explosion weaponry. A few even fired small caliber precision weapons like assault rifles and mini guns.
These individuals wore a bit resembnce of military attire but didn't entirely convey the army feeling. Bck uniform overall, their are distinctions to be made such as red badges on the chest and specs of pte armor, helmets, Google, and other things that cover their body parts. They weren't the army that's for sure. They must be a specialist group.
But how did they get here and why Nevermind that.
Them being here had the impact to turn the tides on their favor, that the soldiers are making a change.
The giant monster, irritated by the cluster of shots, sweeps the ground and unleashes a powerful blow that takes out half of the soldiers.
"Nooooooo!" Alice screamed.
It wasn't going to be over just like that. Yes, sure, they maybe outnumbered. There is still a shot.
There was still one soldier mounted a vehicle. He sprang up like a spring and pced a rocket to his gun. He aimed with precision, waiting for the right timing and when he got it, he pulled the trigger.
The rocket unched and propelled at high speed unlike the previous shots. The rocket nded its mark and caused a way bigger explosion, at the centre the giant monster's chest.
This was it.
With that much explosive power, the monster fell to ground, colpsing to the ground.
The weapon used to fell the beast was is something else from the other shots fired. The type of size and capability, the rocket seemed to do the job.
The monster's blood scattered on the solid ground upon colpse. Not breathing. No movement. No grunts.
The monster is.......dead.
The victory sted only minutes and it was over, just like that.
