According to the notification, with my first floor done, I am now a proper dungeon. It is considered some sort of milestone and I get a reward in the form of schemas. Yet what kind of reward is this?
A goat. A Slime. A mule. A fucking sterile mule. The only uncommon schema is a rat, though it is dire rats but what's the bloody difference.
A mule has no place in a dungeon. Its a beast of burden. A docile creature. It can only be a prey. Which can also not be possible because these beast of burden were sterile. I don't have the mana to keep creating them when they get eaten.
A slime was no better. Though their reproduction rate is high, they are the weakest of weakest. A single stab can killed them. Moreover they were slow and had no defensive or offensive skills. Nature cleaners they are called because they eat waste and dead matters.
Dire Rats. Well I had enough rats. I know that one of my rats could evolved into one. Dire Rats are strong... for a rat. I have fought them before. Didn't do much. Wild dogs are better than dire rats.
So my last option. Goats. A prey creature. Better than the rest, atleast better than the mule. Though they are prey creatures, they are not that docile. Domesticated cattles are more docile than goats. They can survive in every environment. Moreover, they can be good source of food for my evolving hunting lizards.

Titles were given for achieving something unique. Boon were skills that can be used by the dungeon. Floors can be name.
Having check everything out, I started to work again. I have unfinished work afterall.
Before that, I created two herds of goats: three females led by a male. One of the herd spawned in the northeast and the other in the southwest. I will create more herd later on.
It was time work on the finishing touch. Six feet wide, ten feet tall and thousands of feet long, the entrance tunnel would be a work of art. There will be more crossroads. A dozen crossroad through the current tunnel, which will be adjusted in length and size as well.
Each tunnel from the first crossroad will lead to another crossroad. Wrong tunnel will only lead to five more crossroad. The right tunnel would lead to eight.
There will be four correct path, opening in the four cardinal direction: East, West, North and South.
The tunnels would be a mixture of cave tunnel, mine tunnel and cobbled tunnel. Its gonna take me several days but I have time to spare.
In order to make it more challenging, I will add traps and other danger. In order to attract delvers, I will add treasure chests and other prizes.
Isn't it romantic? Two paths, One Choice. To either doom or riches. Such will be my tunnel. A Paradoxical Maze.
Half a day passed by as I chisel and carved. The older rats evolved to dungeon rats. Most of the younger ones fell prey to the lizards and snakes.
One of your creatures, a grass toad is about to undergo evolution. Select a desired path.
Stone-backed toad(Common): This toad had learnt to camouflage in the environment. Its back turns to stones, which acts as an armor and let it hide in its surroundings as an unassuming rock.
Bullfrog(Common): This toad has left its toad species and turned into a frog. An ambush animal that feeds on any moving creatures that it can kill and fit its mouth.
Poison Toad(Uncommon): This toad had learnt the art of poison from the fly agaric. Its skin produce a poison that can be fatal upon ingestion and cause mild irritation when it comes into contact.
Whoa. It was the first time that upon evolution, there was more than two paths.
This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.
Stone-backed toad will increased the survival chance of the toad but there was no other benefit. Bullfrog provides an aggressive nature and a change in specie, the first so far.
Poison Toad increases the toad survival chance more than the stone-backed. Once predators learnt of its poison, they will stop from hunting it. Moreover, it was an uncommon schema.
Common, Uncommon and Rare does not designate the creature's power level alone. The ranking is decided based on multiple factor but mostly on availability.
Since multiple toads were evolving at the same time, I choose all of them. Sadly, only one got Poison Toad.
One of your creatures, a common moss is about to undergo evolution. Select a desired path.
Cave Moss(Common): This Common moss had adapted to the subterranean life and evolved into a cave moss. Cave moss is a type of moss that thrives in the dimly lit and humid environment of caves. These mosses often have adaptations to survive in low light conditions.
Glowlight Moss(Uncommon): Learning from the glowing stool, this moss has evolved to produced bioluminescence. It also secretes a sticky oil from its leaves which traps insects attracted to its light.
Aye. There is no wonder which one I would have to choose. I have enough cave moss.
One of your creature, a black algae is about to undergo evolution. Select the desired path.
Glowlight Algae(Exotic): This algae has learnt from the glowing stool to produce bioluminescence. It has become a truly self sustaining organism using its own light to produce food, though in small amount.
What in the name of Holy Astra? This is absurd, truly absurd. A plant using its own light to produce its own food. If those knowledge corrupted badtards from the towers hears of this, it will create a huge uproar.
Haha. Take that, Us.....My word got stuck on my non-existent throat.
My Hunting Lizard has woken up from his slumber.
He was bigger than before. Thrice his previous size. Six feet long and three feet in height, larger than a normal adult hunting lizard. His limbs were more muscled and lengthier. Claws were longer, hardier and sharper. His horns had turned antlerlike and a myriad of blue, black and red, just like his scale. His scales were thicker yet flexible. He was a whole powerhouse.
Hunting Lizard
Inayk Saka
A named dungeonborn hunting lizard. Larger, faster and stronger than the rest of its kind, it stands above all. With its increased prowess, more potent venom and higher intelligence, it has become a true guardian.
Blessing: None
Welcome back, Inayk Saka, I said, reaching into his mind.
He did not had the intelligence to form yet but enough to understand and respond. He wanted to hunt, bigger and stronger prey.
Don't be long, I said. He agreed. He went out into the outside, hungry but determined.
The two Ground-weavers were relieved of their duties and the creeper crawlies went down to the first floor.
Another half a day went by. The tunnels were all dugged out but yet to be shaped.
The entirety of the tunnel reach a length of five kilometres. Different size, shape and type. Some tunnels would be big enough to fit a mammoth or two, some tunnels will be only enough to crawled through. Some tunnels were twisting. Some tunnels led upward, some towards.
The tunnels were so long and large that it can be a called a floor in itself. A Pseudo-floor.
First, I worked on the cave type tunnel. Stalactites and stalagmites formed out of the ground and ceilings. Ten of these cave type tunnels were caverns. A pseudo-room. The next tunnels were hidden, just as the entrance were.
Only few of the cavern tunnels were normal. Some of them were too narrow to be cross to go through. Delvers has to squeeze through to cross.
As I finished up working on my last cavern tunnel, Inayk Saka returned to the dungeon. In his mouth, there were several creatures.
My awareness tingle. A large, non-dungeonborn creature had entered the dungeon, dredging behind Inayk Saka. It was a lizard that was half his size. I recognised the specie. An iguana.
Before I could react to the intruder, Inayk Saka reached out to me. He told me it was a friend.

Rabbit(Common)
Rabbits are herbivores with short tails, long ears for sensing predators, and powerful hind legs that allow them to leap quickly to safety when threatened.
New Schema Unlocked
Goblin Dog(Common)
This mangy canine’s face has the same flat nose, beady eyes, and protruding teeth as a rat grown grotesquely large. Despite its name, the goblin dog is in fact a species of rodent grown monstrously large. Their long-legged shape and proclivity to hunt and run in packs earned them their popular name, a name that many goblins take issue with, as it galls the average goblin to consider these, their favored mounts, having anything at all to do with actual dogs.
There were also several rat-snakes. There was another screen. I guess it. I could see the glow in his body afterall.
One of your creatures, a hunting lizard is about to undergo evolution. Select the desired path.
Giant Rock Horned Lizard(Uncommon): This giant lizard has small horns protruding form its wedge-shaped head. Its scales are dark reddish-brown or gold in color. The rock-horned lizard grows to a length of eight feet. The rock-horned lizard fires a stream of blood from the corners of its eyes at its foes before rushing in to attack with its bite earning its other name, Blood Lizard.
Lesser Crocodile(Uncommon): The saltwater crocodile, Crocodylus porosus, is a powerful apex predator found in brackish, saltwater, and freshwater habitats. They are known for their large size, powerful jaws, and ability to thrive in diverse aquatic environments, including the ocean
Giant Grilled Lizard(Rare): This bright-eyed lizard is larger than a horse. As it hisses in anger, a brightly colored frill extends around its neck.A true behemoth—an apex predator found in tropical regions. Many species of giant lizard exist—other species lack this lizard’s intimidating charge special ability but might have other special attacks like grab, trip, constrict or pounce.
I nearly gasp in shock. All the evolutionary branches were more than worthy of my named guardian.
