I roared in anger as the chief of police deleted the body cam footage of my monstrous fellow office murdering a man in an alleyway!

“You were supposed to fire him, not destroy the evidence!!” I said furiously; and the chief of police turned to me and said, “Trust in the police department will go down if this murder becomes public knowledge, and gangs like the Ghasts will gain more recruits. We will keep a closer eye on Officer Toll, and we’ll make sure that this never happens again.”

“F you!” I screamed!; and in my anger I pulled out my gun and shot the chief of police.

I quickly realized that I had f-ed up big time, but I also knew that I may as well kill Officer Toll too since there was no evidence to use to imprison him anymore; and so I ran over to where Officer Toll was, shot him dead, and then dashed out of the police department while the other officers were still trying to figure out what was going on.

I knew that the cameras in the police department would have picked up what I had done and that I would be the most hunted man in the city once everyone in the police department figured out what I had just done.

Was I sorry for what I had done?

  I don’t know.

After all, the chief of police had intentionally destroyed evidence that could have easily led to Officer Toll getting life in prison without the possibility of parole, and so hadn’t she essentially been becoming an accomplice to future murder he might commit in addition to having covered up the murder that he’d just committed?

I knew that the former chief of police would have never done such an evil thing, and the current police department was no longer interested in serving and protecting anymore. All that the department cared about was preserving the status quo and making people fear them, and it was hard to believe that only a decade ago the police department had been really good!

The police department had formerly understood that morals and ethics and a commitment to the equality of all people were essential to a police department being legitimate, but now it was just all about power games and flexing the police department’s muscles.

This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.

And when “law enforcement” is just about power games and muscle flexing, there’s no limit to the evil places that “law enforcement” can go to.

Did people not remember that it was law enforcement who had been murdering Hebrew babies before the the great Exodus had happened?

Did people not remember that it was law enforcement who had brought runaway slaves back to their masters when slavery had been legal in the United States?

Did people not remember that it was law enforcement who had burned Joan of Arc at the stake?

And those were just 3 examples of law enforcement committing horrific wickedness! There were tons of examples that had happened all throughout history!

Law enforcement officers could do good or evil things, and laws could be good or evil!

And when law enforcement becomes evil enough then it must be changed or overthrown!

As these thoughts raced through my head, I suddenly realized that I hadn’t been paying attention to where I’d been running and that I was now in the territory of the Ghasts.

And I was still in my police officer uniform!

I quickly tried to exit Ghast territory, but then some members of the Ghasts came out from where they’d been hiding and all pointed their guns at me.

“Hands up, pig!” one of them snarled!, “Or you’ll be dead in an instant!”

“Why not kill him now?” another member asked, “I mean, the only good cop is a dead cop, after all.”

“That’s right!” Another member said!, “ACAB, all cops are bad! ACAB, all cops are bad!…” and several other members of the Ghasts joined in on the chant in very threatening tones of voice.

“This pig could be of use to us,” the man who’d spoken first said, “and we aren’t a gang who acts on impulse, g— damn it! We are disciplined mfs who are well on our way to wrestling control of this city away from the powers that be so that we can run things instead!” and then he walked over to me and began tying me up.

I didn’t try to resist, and I didn’t try to kill myself so that they couldn’t use me for whatever they wanted to use me for.

Maybe I should have. After all, as bad as the police department had gotten, I knew that the Ghasts weren’t any better.

Once I was tied up, the person who’d tied me up led me to a cell, and then once I was securely contained in the cell the person untied me and said, “Coming into Ghast territory is the worst mistake that you ever made, pig; and before long you are going to be wishing that you’d never been born…” and then he spit on me and walked away from the jail cell and was soon out of sight…
