  Well, as far as I can tell, Cali has no romantic interest in that priest at all. But she’s being veeery cagey about what he gave her. She just said it was something to help us save the world. Which isn't exactly comforting.

  I don't know, I feel kinda bad about doubting her. She’s not acting suspicious, not worried or anything. Whatever it is, she apparently thinks it’s fine. When we talked, she kinda acted like she was afraid of failure, but nothing more sinister.

  I should just not worry about it. I trust her. She wouldn't do anything stupid. Besides, we’re kinda being watched by the Goddess now, so if it were something evil it’ll be noticed by someone with the power to stop her.

  I’m not even sure charm magic would work on the Goddess.

  So yeah, I’ll just not worry.

  Instead, I’ll worry about what we’re gonna do after dropping the papers off in Mouse. Will we go east and travel down the coast? Seeing the beach would be cool. Ooor we might ask to go to Raddish. Being international travelers would be even cooler! And sure, none of us have passports, because why would we, but I’m sure we could get some. It’s not like it takes a long time or anything.

  Then I’ll be able to say I’ve officially done something you probably never will! Suuure, you’ve been to Uwuwoof, Great Traveler Risa, having been to the official capital of our great nation, ooh aah, but I’ve been to a whole other country!

  Anyhow! The weather sure is nice lately!

  Ok, that was lame, sorry.

  Luke continues to be a very good boyfriend. We’re camping on the side of the road tonight, and when he went to find firewood he brought me back flowers! Super sweet of him. I need to figure out some kind of present for him. This is the kind of thing I need you for. I never was good at presents, unless someone specifically says “hey, I want that thing for my birthday”.

  Luke hasn't really ever said he wants anything, though. Maybe I should get him a shirt? No, that’s dumb. He makes jewelry, so if he wanted an earring or something he’d just make it.

  Gaah, save me before I get him something lame like a toothbrush.

  I know! I'll ask Maki if he has any ideas. Maki always comes through when I need him.

  Not being able to ask the smartest, most beautiful Banker for advice, I shall ask my stinky, lame brother.
