Hi, my name is Fredrick Prince, Fred for short. I have short black hair, because when its long it is completely out of my control. My eyes are the collar of emeralds, so I guess that’s cool. Also, I’m insanely white and well, let’s just say I don’t have much in the way of muscle. On top of all of that, I am 5 foot exact. As you can imagine, this makes me a prime target for bulling, seeing as I’m a freak. For the most part they only tease me, but three bullies in particular, their names being Zack, Fernando, and their leader, Tomas. But life isn’t all that bad, after all I have a friend, Josh, he is like the exact opposite of me, he is about six foot five, and starting on the basketball team, after all, we are both only freshmen in high school. Now enough about me, let’s get into the story. Today started like any other day, well mostly, after all, it’s the last day of school!

  “Fredrick you’re going to be late for school”

  I hear being shouted from a giant, and then all the sudden I feel the ground shaking under me and the giant shouts again

  “Wake up, wake up!”

  Now at this point your probably thinking, wow you have a really annoying little sister, nope, that’s my mom, Angela. my eyes shoot open as I realize, it’s the last day of school! The instant the thought flashes into my mind, I feel about five gallons of water so cold I could have sworn it came from Antarctica splash onto me.

  I practically jumped out of my bed and yelled “mom what was that for?”

  But all she had for an answer was childish giggles. I couldn’t stay mad for long because I soon burst into laughter, after all, my dad, Jack, had just dumped water all over my mom while saying,

  Stolen novel; please report.

  “Don’t worry Fred I’ll save you.”

  A couple minutes later, after I got control of my laughing of course, I ask “what time is it anyway?”

  My mom replies “half pass kissing time, time to kiss again.”

  Of course., I avert my eyes as they kiss, because that’s just gross. A couple of seconds later my dad says “its 6:00, your mom just wanted to get you worried.”

  I think for a little bit and then I say, “Ok mom, you got me up this early so I guess you’ll just have to let me go get Jack”. My mom replies “Fine, but just this once, understood?”. I smile and say “understood, now I’m going to get ready and go”. My mom smiles “Ok, don’t spend too much time at his house” as she left the room. After they left, I go take a shower and get dressed. As I walk down the stairs I smell, nothing other than my dad’s world-famous white chocolate and macadamia nut pancakes! I walk into the kitchen and take three and start eating.

  “Love you guys bye!” I yell as I turn to leave for school.

  As I’m walking to my friend’s house I notice three people standing at a light pole. I keep walking wondering what they are doing but I notice two late, that it is Zack, Fernando, and Tomas.

  I try to walk past them but Zack sees me and says, “hey look it’s the twerp, Fredrick.”

  I start running as fast as I can, and they give chase.

  I yell at them “why cant you guys just leave me alone?”

  Tomas yells back “because you’re a looser”

  All of the sudden my best friend, Josh, runs up and rams into Tomas, knocking them both off their feet. I had to turn back, after all, even though jack was a walking hulk he couldn’t take on these three alone. I try to help jack fight but it was soon all over and me and josh were backed up agents a fence, it was all over. Out of nowhere there was a crack of lightning and we were all thrown to are feet.
