Chapter 7: Legacy Inheritor

  -----Third Person PoV-----

  While staring at the tombstone slightly in a daze, Sol was slowly dragging his battered body to it.

  Reaching the tombstone, Sol saw that the tombstone is blank, he then reached out his hand to it, as if he was in a trance.

  After Sol touched the tombstone, it suddenly let out a bright flash of light before dimming.

  Now the supposedly blank tombstone that has dimmed, have words written on it that says.

  Stunned, Sol chose to accept this so-called Legacy and absorbed the star energy within the tombstone while thinking.

  'As long as you give me the power to help the poeple I care about, I won't even mind signing a deal with the devil himself after all I have done.'

  Absorbing the star energy, Sol felt as if he was in a warm embrace of his mother and let his body go limp.

  After all his fatigue and bruises, it's no wonder that Sol would faint, especially with his body of a 1 year old boy.

  After Sol fainted, an astonishing change occured on his body, his already tender skin became even more tender, almost like a new born's skin, his golden hair became glittering silver colored like the stars in the skies itself, and star energy starts entering his body to strengthen it.

  This process lasted for 15 minutes before stopping.

  Not long after, a group of people in Dractum guard uniform entered the area and found Sol.

  Because of the star energy's nourishment to his body, the scars and bruises from the fight have long disappeared.

  But because Sol's hair became glittering silver colored, they almost thought he was someone else if it wasn't for his 1 year old body.

  -----Felicia's PoV-----

  After hearing Joseph and Sophia's story about when they went to the《Shadow Forest》and how Sol sacrificed himself to divert the ferocious tiger's attention, I almost faint, but I manage to keep my calm and a team of the household guards to look for Sol.

  I then punished both Joseph and Sophia for going to the forest and especially for bringing their 1 year old brother with them there.

  After who knows how long, the guards came back carrying an unconcious boy with glittering silver haired boy.

  I instinctively knew that it was my son, I do not care about what happened to his hair as long as he is fine.

  I then carry Sol back to his room after ordering a house maid closest to me and have her get a doctor to check on Sol.

  He might not have any bruise on his body, but it's better safe than sorry.

  While the doctor is checking up on Sol, I decided to resume Joseph and Sophia's punishment.

  -----Third Person PoV-----

  At the room where Joseph and Sophia is being punished, muffled scream and cries of suffering could be heard inside.

  No maids can be seen near this room, and even the guards that is guarding this room is so stiff they look like statues.

  Sol will one day learn from his siblings about how scary her mother's punishment could be, but that will be a story for another time.

  -----Sol's PoV-----

  Opening my eyes, I see the usual ceiling of my room and the usual feeling of my bed on my back.

  Lifting my body back up and looking around the room, I realised I'm back inside my room in the Dractum household.

  I then decided to check my status.

  I was stunned by the amount of increased stats, I vaguely remember a feeling of something entering my body when I was unconcious, it must have something to do with the Legacy, so I won't worry much.

  I then decided to check my skills.

  Looking at the new skills the Legacy gave me, I was pleasently surprised.

  Especially the《Divine Star Materialisation》skill, I already know what type of weapon I will choose, and I can't wait to use this skill
