Chapter 7 What to Talk About

Deng Shen Yu Xia finished her bath and changed into new clothes. When she came out, Chun Fen had already arranged the meal with the help of a servant girl.

"Miss, come and eat quickly, theres Dongpo pork hock which is your favorite."

Shen Youxia sat beside the dinner table, smelling the familiar aroma of the dishes, watching the servants coming and going, her eyes involuntarily moistening again.

"Miss? Whats wrong, why are you crying?" Seeing Shen Youxia in tears, Chunfen was startled. "Are we going to call for Prince Wang?"

"No need, Im fine," Shen Youxia wiped away the tears on her face with a handkerchief, "It feels like Ive never had such good food in my entire life."

Her grandfather was worried that she wouldnt be used to the food in Rui Wangfu, so he especially gave her the best cook from Dingguo Houfu. Her parents had passed away early, and when she was young, her grandfather was busy, it was these people who accompanied her as she grew up.

Spring equinox, autumnal equinox, summer solstice and winter solstice are more like her sisters.

"Why is that girl crying?" Autumn spoke quickly and didnt notice Spring giving herself a signal to stop asking.

"Aunt Lius cooking is getting better and better, Im touched."

In her previous life, she was imprisoned for three months and didnt even get to eat a single drop of oil, let alone endure those inhumane tortures.

It wasnt until then that Shen Youxia realized that eating well and sleeping well meant having someone care about ones own happiness.

She hated her past self so much. Such happy days, why didnt she know how to cherish them? Why did she get lost in that man and become like that? Regret!

"Miss likes to eat more, if Liu aunt knows that miss is crying with hunger, she will definitely laugh at you."

  "Mmm."

Shen Youxia choked back her tears and nodded with a smile, then began eating.

After finishing dinner, it was already dark.

That day, Shen Youxia went through too much and was so tired that she lay directly on the bed, thinking about what happened in her past life, sorting out things that might happen or encounter, and couldnt let herself make those mistakes again.

  "Your Highness."

Tonight, on duty outside, was Dongzhi. Seeing Zhu Yunyan come over and pay his respects, he also reminded Shen Youxia, who was resting inside the house.

Shen Youxia suddenly sat up with a "thud".

Zhu Yunyan, how did you come?

Its been so long since they got married, he rarely comes to her courtyard, let alone come to her room at midnight.

In an instant, no less than twenty possibilities flashed through Shen Youxias mind.

In fact, Zhu Yunyan didnt know why she came over either, nor did she know what she was doing here.

"Your Highness, coming here in the middle of the night, is there something on your mind?"

Shen Youxia, with a spirit of "soldiers coming to block and water coming to cover", smiled at Zhu Yunyan.

Zhu Yunyan didnt speak, sitting on the chair, under the candlelight, his handsome face with sharp eyebrows added a layer of cold light, such a man, any woman would fall in love with him.

Yes, isnt it that Ive fallen in love with this face of his? Probably the entire Western City doesnt have anyone who doesnt love this face.

Shen Youxias bitter smile and shake of her head did not escape Zhu Yunyans eyes.

  "Shen Youxia, lets talk."

I dont know if its because of the candlelight, but Zhu Yunyan felt that the Shen Youxia in front of her was a bit different from before.

"As it happens, I also have something to talk to you about."

Shen Youxia sat down on the chair opposite, looking at the man in front of her with a calm and collected expression, the man she had loved for a lifetime in her past life, but would never love again even if she died in this life.

  "Whats going on?"

When Shen Youxia wanted to talk to him, Zhu Yunyan couldnt help but raise a mocking smile. Was she going to interrogate him about his relationship with Li Yue again?
