It was a quiet day in a quiet apartment in a very quiet London. The latter of which is not uncommon at all.
""THIS ISN'T MY VR HELMET!"" Of course since nothing lasts forever the silence was going to be brutally murdered by two conniving and idiotic fellows. The two gentlemen of which I am referring to are known as Dexter and Zie... Ziemo... Zieom? Okay, just call them Dex and Zie to make it easier.
Inside this apartment these two are sitting down; one on the couch and the other on the chair. The curly brown hair boy wearing the red shirt sitting on the couch is known as Dex, remember that you'll need to know it later. The flat-haired blonde boy wearing the blue shirt on the chair is known as Zie. His name is incredibly difficult to pronounce so I've just shortened it down to three letters for you.
They are now tinkering with their virtual reality helmets, removing the game cartridges that were attached and replacing them with others that were aside them.
"I told you that if this wasn't my helmet I'd see something that I wouldn't want to see but I'd probably play again since I know we own it now." Dexter was rather whiny, he didn't care. "What kind of man plays a game with virtual nude women?"
"Oh, you find that weird? What kind of man plays a game with virtual nude men?" Zie retorted, with the new cartridges inserted in they both placed the helmets onto to their heads.
"An open-minded one, that's what kind." With their helmets strapped on and their eagerness to go they pressed a button on the side of their helmets!
"Really, C0-0P? Did it have to be done with numbers?" Zie needlessly complained over something so trivial.
"Engineering and drugs will do that to you."
With their unique profiles they declined the offer presented to them and continued on with their adventure.
"You're using Shrekedit? I thought you had Luv&Lief on there." Oddly enough this sounded like a genuine question.
"Oh no, they're on Kappa. Did you create a new one? I haven't seen Dorothy'sBFF before."
"Oh yeah, I had Nine-thousand on Battletoads so I didn't want to get rid of all that data." With their first genuine conversation done they proceeded to start a new game where they were presented with a scale model of their character and a screen depicting all the common information one would need to know for their character.
For a brief few minutes there was a silence, they both were immersed in customizing their character to the fullest.
"What's her name?" Zie sarcastically commented.
"Edith, whatcha' naming your one?" Unfazed or genuinely not catching wind of Zie's condescendence Dexter answered him with a proper response.
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"I'm going for a name which sounds like they're probably a hooker but once you meet them it becomes clear they really aren't one and it's just a fancy name."
"Velvet?"
"Good enough."
"What race did you go for?" Dexter queried, when selecting the races the two of them were presented with another screen as to not clutter their eyes.
"I'm going for Dola, I'm going for a more mage glass-cannon." Zie already tapped Dola and only left Dexter hanging in the race selection screen. "Going for Faerie this time?"
"No, you're lucky that I'm going for a tank, otherwise you'd be screwed over. I'm still having nightmares over our double glass-cannon run on Albion." Dexter noticeably shivered at the thought. "I'm going for Xana since I clearly have appearance issues and gender-identity issues."
"It's a shame they haven't added a tank-focused race." Zie condescendingly chuckled.
"Why aren't you going for Faerie? You're going glass-cannon shouldn't you prioritize mana instead of the amount of spells you can have?" Dexter spoke with good reason, to dish out more damage he would require the extra mana he would be granted by [Mana Abyss]!
"Elementalist has [Meteor Storm] and [Thunder strike], it's pretty hard to get lore in the late game and they're better in comparison to just some extra mana. There's a bunch of others that are going to be useful as well, so it's more about quality instead of quantity." Zie concluded his point.
"The way we talk about this seriously is probably a bad sign for our mental health." Dex commented. "So, classes, you're clearly going for elementalist and I'm going for Templar, so that's not really difficult."
Upon selecting Class, the two were brought into a strange scenario. Instead of a list of classes for them to select they were presented with just one singular class, both of them quite different from one another.
"This... doesn't seem right." Dexter blatantly pointed out. "What did you get? I got Great paladin of the lost tower."
"Great sorcerer of the lost tower. This seems pretty cool, did you add it while adding co-op?"
"I honestly don't know. Probably, you know what, just go with it. They're actually very strong classes that seem rather overpowered and they have a lot of shit that I have never seen before in my life. The obvious answer is to not argue and just take it." Dexter openly accepted the peculiar changes and Zie was definitely on-board with the idea, the classes they had were immensely overpowered! "Okay, let's just finish everything off and see what we can do here."
"Why do I feel like you've added something stupid and moronic to the game?" Zie questioned.
"Because I worked on it at midnight while under the influence of drugs. I'm surprised we're not seeing memes flying everywhere." Dexter murmured.
