Sain volunteered to get in first for two reasons. The first was that he had the 'Party Scan' skill which would allow him to track of the other were affected by so he rather get this over with first and observe the others.
The second reason was that while using 'Boost' he had his 'All Seeing Eyes' which could at least give him insight on what he needed do.
“Ready?” Alena asked one last time to which Sain nodded.
“Remember to tap the door when you are done if you finish early else I will open the door after a full day” she finally said closing the door on him.
Thud.
The door to this cube was closed but strangely enough he could still see. The walls were glowing slightly which allowed him to see even as it was not dark.
This message appeared which aligned with what Alena said before. He was calm as so far nothing was out of his expectation. Soon enough he decided that this energy that was suppose to go in him was not going to be tracked that easily so he decided to meditate.
“....”
“....”
“....”
Seeing nothing happen, Sain just decided to think of tactics instead...since he had a whole day in here, it meant that he had some time to spare...right? As such he started thinking of ways to beat enemies that were stronger than them.
Ways to take the enemy unguarded, ways to slip through attacks and ways to kick them down and continue to kick them until they died.
An unknown amount of time to him passed until he felt that something entered him. Almost panicking he felt that this energy was truly violent in nature as it felt like it was trying to run amok and rip his body apart.
He focused his mind first on trying to control it....with no success. He could not control it at all but then decided to let it do what it wanted seeing that even if he died he would still get the skill.
“Argg....” he let out a groan as he allowed the energy pass through his body. It was like...a blade was in his veins and cutting it through as it moved across his body.
The energy without warning from the core of his mana decided to rotate around his body on it's own. He could feel that his body was slowly falling apart as time passed but still allowed the energy free in his body.
As more time passed and the amount of that violent energy passed in him, the pain increased but strangely enough as if he was numb to it, became more bearable to endure. He could feel that the violent energy was being compressed as well...was this the effect of his compressed magic mastery skill?
More and more time passed and the energy that seemed limitless and expansive became like a drop of power to draw from. From that, Sain decided to rotate that power around his body on his own.
At first he felt the same pain as before but as his body got used to it, he was slowly able to adapt to it. Eventually though he really could not describe it properly, felt that the violent energy has merged completely with his mana which made it go blackish in colour.
It was at that time that he gained the skill.
Sain gasped for breath. He was extremely surprised right now for not the effects with the regeneration but the increase in magic strength as well.
Due to the effects of 'Compressed Magic Mastery', he would not gain any magic strength bonus from the skill at all when he did not release it even though right now at Beginner Level 7 it would passively give him a 140% bonus.
The reason he did not use it actively was that the less he used it, the more powerful this bonus would be to the point that it would triple if he did not use it for a full day. The second to fifth time he used it, the effects of the bonus will be doubled but after that the extra bonus would vanish.
And he later found out that using it more than 10 times will just give the regular 'Magic Mastery' effect of 10% per level which he did not want.
But with this, with this if he levelled it up, his magic would be gather what it was and better yet it would amplify the effects of 'Compressed Magic Mastery' as well. Right now if he used it, instead of a 420% increase in magic strength it would be 462% increase instead. A 10% increase made the increase in power a lot higher.
Sain grinned as he waited to get out of the room and test it out.
xXx
Raven was the next to enter the room. He got the same message that Sain got when Alena closed the door to the room and he waited. From what Sain said, you just need to focus on the energy that enters your body eventually.
As someone trained in the use of his body to fight by his master Park, the near god like spear user, he was sure that he could tell that something foreign enters his body. The only problem according to Sain was that it may be difficult to control it like in his case.
But Raven did not mind that. He was used to taking damage, taking the hits for others and by others at the same time.
He sat there waiting not thinking much on anything. All he did was focus on the feeling of his body. Quicker than Sain at least, Raven felt something warm enter his body. It was not difficult to control at first so Raven thought that it was not it.
Therefore he ignored it for the most part until he realised that the energy that came in him was different from Sain's. It was then that he focused on the energy that was like clump gathered in him.
He felt it with his mind and it was warm. Something so warm in him....was something he believed was impossible. He focused on that feeling for a while longer before he realised he was meant to also spread it across his body.
If Sain's experience could be called blood being pumped through the veins of his body than Raven's one would be the blood that is spread across his muscles.
It was done more easily than he though and the warm feeling came around his body and rotated faster and faster like it was a competition on how fast it can go around him. The more it went around him, the more he felt that his body was becoming tougher.
While soft to touch it would immediately harden as something hit it, like a certain thing that would be a liquid on one hand but a solid when hit. Raven remembered it was something to do with corn dust mixed with water.
In the end he too gained the skill and felt happy about it.
Raven nodded to the question and waited for Alena to let him out to talk about what he obtained compared to Sain.
xXx
The third person to enter the room was Shadow. Learning of what Raven experienced, he knew that to try and experience the feelings that both of them did was nearly impossible. As such he would not ignore anything that would come in him.
“Well then...wonder when it will come...” Shadow muttered before realising that there was no one else in here with in so it was impractical to talk right now.
He sat down and waited leaning on the wall. He thought of many things and it was mostly of his own presence. It was like a Shadow about to only exist in the light someone else made. Like a parasite he laughed at himself.
Of whose light, was it Sain's light or someone else's, he did not know. He found Sain bright and dark at the same time. Raven was like stone and he rather not mention the others at all...but Lyndis was like a flame, a bright light that he felt he could exist with...
“No...”
He couldn't believe he was having these kinds of thoughts right now. He focused more on the energy or whatever he would gain and it seemed the room answered him. He felt something...but it seemed to slip out away from him at the same time.
“....”
A bit frustrated he tried to catch it but it escaped from his mind as he tried to seek it. Several hours passed like this until his mind was exhausted to think.
“....”
But then something strange happened. As he was relaxing and unconsciously hiding himself again, the strange energy...no it felt more like mist in nature gathered around him naturally.
“Mist...”
A combination of water in the air being lit up due to the cold but it is there but not there to the eyes of a person. An illusion to many in the past and nothing more than a reflection of light, not leaving even a shadow.
“Mist...shadow...”
He decided to try again but this time with not force. He simply allowed the mist that he could not see nor feel to gather naturally at a place that it would exist. Like himself it could not exist without something to support it.
Eventually the mist decided to gather without him urging it to and it spread out naturally around his body. There was nothing to be contained but at the same time it stayed there mysteriously. Eventually he gained the skill as well.
With a sigh that his stealth skill increased in ability again, he left the room when Alena said time was up. He was surprised that a day passed like that so quickly.
xXx
Gathering information from the previous three before her, Miriel entered the room and allowed Alena to lock her in. She was quite calm on the inside but was looking quite nervous on the outside, like something was reversed for a moment there.
Calm down, calm down was what she was thinking as Alena closed the door of the room where she would be trapped in there for a whole day else she would finish early though there would be nothing to do until the day passes.
“What to do now...” she wondered.
She was sitting with her back straight up and was staring at the wall. She thought she might as well try the method the other used...to focus on yourself to feel something changing or coming in her.
“....”
For some reason those words felt...never-mind, either way she was sitting there, calm. Hours later, Miriel could feel that the room was getting closer.
“Is my body temperature dropping?” she wondered. It didn't seem that the room was getting colder and her body wasn't getting closer as well...though she could not tell on the second point. However Miriel remembered that she needed to accept whatever was coming at her.
“....”
As such she calmed her mind again and allowed herself to get colder and colder...
Eventually she clearly felt that there was something was inside her body right now that wasn't there before. To describe it, it would be a cold spot next to the place where Miriel's mana source was.
“This is...”
Feeling this, Miriel's mind slipped a bit and all of a sudden that cold spot increased in size rapidly. Her body temperature was dropping rapidly now.
“Damn..!”
She focused her mind immediately and went on trying to control this power...else to try and contain it a bit so it doesn't kill her in the process. Several hours later she felt that the size of this cold spot was as large as her mana source.
Feeling something, she went on to mix it with her mana. Bit by bit, her mana felt like it was getting colder and colder the more she did it. When she completely combined the two into one, she felt that the new mana was rapidly spreading across her body.
It was like having an ice pack on every part of her body and at the same time gained a new skill as well.
Feeling satisfied she waited as Alena let her out as more of that ice like energy came out and poured into the room increase the power of the skill even if it's by a bit.
xXx
As Lyndis walked in the room and sat down, she looked as Alena closed the door on her with some determination. To be frank, she was sort of excited to see what kind of skill she would get since everyone else seemed to have gotten interesting ones at least.
“Hm...hum...hm...hum...hm...”
However sitting in here without doing anything would be quite difficult for her. Why couldn't it be something that required her to do something...doing nothing and gaining something seemed strange to her.
“Boooring....” she let out that word again and again for the next hour while trying to calm down or something.
She was really bored and there was nothing to do at all in here, plus it was cramped and felt a bit moist as well. Minutes felt like hours to her when she wasn't doing anything at all.
At times like this, she would usually exercise or study back in the real world since she had nothing else to. Or she would take up a hobby until she was bored. It was really only due to this that Lyndis managed to become quite good in a number of things...because she was bored and had the time to do so.
While squirming around, trying to think of a way to not be uncomfortable in this cramp little room, she felt like it was becoming hotter in the room. She started to sweat a bit.
“Is it because I'm moving around?” she wondered.
However her thoughts were incorrect as the room became hotter and hotter as time passed. Now even her sweat evaporated as well. She started to panic a bit not knowing what the hell was going on but in the end she tried to stay calm, in this inferno like heat.
“This heat is even hotter than my flames itself” she cursed feeling that it was two or three times hotter than any flames that she could produce.
A few more hours passed and Lyndis was surprised she wasn't dead yet. The heat seemed to have concentrated around her skin as the walls were strangely cool. It was only then that she released that this was the strange energy that was most suited for her.
She was on guard to defend from the heat but she was suppose to do the opposite!
Allowing the heat into her body it felt like she was cooking right then and there. While nothing burnt, it felt like something was pressurising her into something smaller and smaller. However Lyndis was not ordinary at all.
She was considered a genius at age 14 when she learnt everything to know to an advance high-school level, after that she went into gaining several skills and hobbies to the point that it could be said that she was a master of several trades.
And all of this was not due to talent but hard work. With her determination, how could she be ordinary.
With a small shout she pushed all the heat into the centre of her body, where her heart was and allowed it to flow around her body like blood. The more she breathed, the hotter the flames, the faster her heart beats, the more the flames rage.
She inadvertently grinned as the flames no longer felt hot but was only a comfortable warmth.
“Yeah!” she let out that shout of victory as she finally gained this skill. Now she could get-
“Huh? Why can't I get out? Alena? Alena?” she said knocking on the door but there was no response at all.
She had forgotten that she needed to stay in the room for a full day...
xXx
The final person to go in the room was Serena. Seeing that the others were all fine and got the skill that they needed from this room, Serena was more nervous than the others when Alena locked the door and trapped her in here.
“I'll be fine, I'll be fine” she repeated to herself to assure that everything will be fine.
Nothing bad was going to happen, she thought over to herself as well. She will not be left behind again...
Either way she did not notice that unlike that others that took hours for them to even feel a change, Serena's was being surrounded by a certain type of energy that her body housed before. It also happened to be the energy that was most suited to as well.
As such, it was easy for the natural energy to go in Serena's body.
In mere minutes the natural energy mixed with her body and with the reserves that were left over when she used 'Boost' in the past.
Because of this, she was quite surprised when the skill appeared for her so quickly.
“Eh?”
She let out that sound seeing the skill window pop up like that. Wasn't it suppose to come out after hours of hard work? Serena wasn't so sure on this point anymore.
“But...how do I get out...?” she wondered for the next day when Alena finally released her after a full 24 hours. She clearly remembered that if she slacked off even now, she would die and as such focused her mind for that outcome not to happen.
Serena felt like she didn't want to be in a closed box like that ever again...
xXx
Due to the exhausting of staying up for a full day else be killed in the room, Serena was asleep for the next day. As such Alena decided it would be a good time to allow the group a slight break as it is.
Everyone gained a skill each due to the strange room that they were in...though it would be more precise that they were trapped in. Once in the place would not open for another day which mean if you were uncomfortable, you would be for an entire day without sleep.
The stress that came from being in that room was extremely high as you needed to stay up for a day straight. However in the past, via Sain, the group almost did this several times in dungeons though they wished to not remember those times.
“With this, everyone more or less has a good boost in regeneration in several areas which will only increase from now on...” he muttered.
As Sain was the first one to go into the room and also the person with the skill 'Party Scan' which allowed him to 'spy' on what happens to the other, he kept note of what skills the others gained.
Looking at each of the skills that they got, Sain could only sigh since the room really gave them what they needed the most. Sain was lacking in magic power, Raven as the tank needed more defence and Shadow the scout could stealth better.
These things he understood but the girls were less so.
Miriel had her ice spell's power boosted, Lyndis was the same with her fire skills and finally Serena with her body condition increasing as well. He had only some idea on why they got these skills while they could have gotten other ones all the same.
Plus another thing he was a bit dissatisfied was that now when he casted a spell, his body had an slight dark aura and his spells were a bit darker in colour as well like it was something sinister...what could have happened for this to occur.
While practising Shadow appeared and commented, “That dark feeling suits you” while him himself was slowly disappearing again like he was some sort of mist.
Miriel's cold aura went even colder as she used her spells now as well but still like Shadow said his dark feeling around him suited him. The same was with Lyndis who felt a bit like a flame now slipping around and burning everything as she used her fire skills though it was only a quarter of the usual power.
In the end Raven patted Sain on the shoulder and nodded in sympathy. Only that the feeling that he was giving off was the complete opposite of which he was giving off. To compare it, Raven felt like the hero and he felt like the villain here!
Sain spent the day pondering about this face
xXx
After everyone got some rest, they were gathered again by Alena who was damn still smiling all the same. It was quite creepy now to look at...
Now their bodies were slowly getting used to the effects of the training she gave them. But it was still difficult to walk if you were not paying attention to how you move.
Next to Alena was a black orb that was supported by a pillar. There was an powerful feeling coming from it.
“This is a Recognition Assignment Orb.”
“Reco-what?”
“A Recognition Assignment Orb is the thing that will give you the 'Art' skill that is most suited to you. These are actually quite common but they are split into the ranks to which level of skill you can get” Alena explained quite bluntly.
“A F rank one can only give you a F rank Art skill. An E rank can give you either a F or E rank one and so on. This is an A rank one which can give you up to an A rank Art skill. There are S rank ones but those are located only in Advance Training Centres or elsewhere where no one knows.”
Miriel raised her hand and then asked, “Say if we got a low ranking one, is it possible to remove it and get another one?”
“It is possible to remove the Art skill since you are only allowed to have one at a time with some minor effort and money. However doing so and immediately trying to get a new one will only end up as the same one.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“In that case how much would it cost” Miriel further asked.
“Around a hundred gold, not much but at the same time not many people change them either way. These Recognition Assignment Orbs can only give you the best Art skill that is suited for you! However if there is a large enough change from before and after, it is possible to get something else. Now who's first?” she asked at the end.
“....”
The group took the time to look at each other and then Lyndis walked up first. Nodding to this Alena said, “Now place your left hand, since the right is taken onto this.”
Lyndis did so and felt a strange sensation where something was crawling up her arm. Then...with a bright light there was a flash as a creature floated up in the air. It was the size of a person and was quite dignified in appearance.
“A dragon...?” she shuttered surprised. The Dragon lit up and 'ran' into here left hand turning into a cross.
“Okay that is really interesting. Only skills that are at least B rank turn up like this” said Alena nodding at seeing the cross like thing on her left hand.
“Umm...why is it a cross and what was that?” asked Lyndis confused as well as the others.
“The cross is a way that the designer of these orbs place in so no one knows what kind of Art Skill you have. Through the Art skill which is based off the best thing you can use, one can determine strengths and weaknesses easily by looking. As for the second bit, certain ranks gives off certain reactions from the orb.”
Alena gave them several images of other people using the orb.
“A F rank Art skill to a C rank one will have a glow of a certain level” A each person they saw placed their hands on the orb, it glowed at different levels from a small light and a glowing sun like presence, “When it reaches B rank it will appear outside the orb itself like with you.”
“Then what about A rank?” asked Sain wanting to know, “And what about S rank as well.”
Alena smiled to these questions, she did not mind them but rather wished they asked more! She felt like a teacher like this!
“An A rank Art skill will have a much larger reaction than a B rank one. A B rank one is as you saw but an A rank one will fill out this entire room. An S rank one is even larger giving off enough energy that it reaches the sky. There have been only 10 or so confirmed reactions so far.”
Sain and the others nodded to the answer. They did not need to worry about giant lights coming out due to them at least.
Alena looked at the rest of the group, “Now who's next?”
“I'll go then” said Sain. He was wondering on what he would get when there an image of a dark throne in the air before it turned to a cross as well.
“Why does it always turn sinister...” he wondered. He wasn't that type of person...right? Though in the past...
Sain moved over to where Lyndis was and waited for the others to get their Art Skills as well.
“Well it probably has to do with the best way you can fight” Alena smiled at Sain answering his thoughts but Sain could only frown to that.
“Who's next?” Alena turned to ask.
“....”
Raven was the next person to come up and touch the recognition orb. He was completely calm as always when he got his one. His one took on the shape of a meteor running through the night sky.
“....”
Raven simply stared at it and said nothing else. No one else felt the need to comment on it though Alena commented on it nonetheless.
“A meteor eh...next” she said prompting Shadow to touch the recognition orb.
“Fine fine” he said without care though it looked like he was at least nervous.
“What's with this cloaked figure...?” he muttered before it turned into a cross as well. He frowned seeing his as he was similar to the reaper mark he got on his right hand though this one became a cross.
“Divine Shadow? That if I recall is an B rank Art skill that is extremely rare...though figures coming from someone in the guild” Alena sighed lightly.
“Rare?” Shadow asked.
“Oh there are records on which ones you can get. So far only your one is the one that I can confirm though that is only due to me as a child watching someone get it with my mum at a church” Alena carelessly said.
“Hmm...” Shadow didn't care much on those words or whether is one was unique or not, so he went off to where the others were.
Before Alena could say 'who's next', Miriel walked forward and asked, “My turn right?” while placing her hand onto the orb.
She was perfectly calm getting her one but was slightly startled at seeing the type of Art skill that she got.
“A moon...?” she saw a half moon on in the air before it became a cross as well.
“Really? I was hoping something related to ice as well...but for barrier skills to come up...?” she questioned what this meant. She thought she was slacking off a bit in terms of using her barrier magic but why did it appear now.
“Serena, you are the last one” said Alena kindly.
Serena looked around to see that everyone else finished already and was looking at her. Slightly panicked due to nervousness she placed her hand onto the orb to which lit up the entire room.
“ROOOOOOOOOARR!!!!”
A mighty beast appeared from the orb and even roared at them before going into Serena.
“A r-rank?!” Alena was slightly startled seeing that the creature from the orb roared of all things.
“Beast...Transformation...?” Serena asked not knowing what this meant.
“Ah” Alena let out that sound seeing that Serena was confused on why she was, of all people got an A rank Art skill when everyone else got a B rank one, “Serena, I will explain everything later so can you go over there for a sec?”
She asked that with the usual smile that rejected no opposition.
Serena nodded and did what she asked after blanking out for a second.
With everyone getting an Art skill from the recognition orb, Alena had them line up to examine the Art skills that they have obtained. In the order in which they gained the skill.
“So...we all get five new skills thanks to this?” Shadow asked Alena. She nodded and response and then said, “Yeah, in all you get four generally more basic skills and one final ultimate level skill or spell that you can only use once in battle.”
The group nodded, from the looks of things, each of their final skills would drain nearly every last bit of them to even use once...but the effects of each of them are enormous to the point that it could be said it was worth it.
Looking at the skills windows, Alena nodded and said, “As expected from B rank and A rank Art skills. All of them are powerful.”
Turning her gaze at the group, she could feel a bit of pride in them though most of the credit she believed lied in their masters training them from the beginning as well as Viv a while back and to a lesser extent her dad as well training them. She was interested in how they would develop later on.
“So...what did you want to explain?” Miriel asked seeing that Alena wasn't speaking and just nodding her head.
“Oh” Alena snapped out of it and then said, “Yes, the explanation. First of all, I have to say that it is extremely fortunate for you all to get at least B rank.”
“But wasn't there A rank which only Serena got?” asked Lyndis.
To this Alena smiled and then proceeded to say, “You have to understand that getting B rank is around only 1%. A rank is even lower than that so even if 2 of you got A rank and the rest C rank, it would be lower in chance than everyone at least getting B rank.”
“And from the looks of things, you will most likely spend most of your mana using these skills and spells as well in one battle.”
“Yeah...me and Raven have the worst out of it then” Shadow sighed seeing that both him and Raven did not get any mana regeneration boost with their other skills.
“That is true but most of your skills cost less mana to use than the rest of us. The fourth skill is only 300 mana in costs while everyone else require at least 500 mana or more to use. My fourth spell requires 1500 mana to use...though it is extremely powerful...” Sain said sighing at the end as well.
“And from the looks of it, only half of us have direct attack skills. The rest of us have support or secondary skills meant to boost or support others” Miriel added, “Though most of these skills are more or less more useful than the common attack skill.”
“This 'fourth slash' skills...I want to test it out” Lyndis muttered.
Hearing this, Miriel let out a small laugh and said, “Be careful with that skill, you can only use it twice.”
“But it sounds super powerful though. Much more than the other 'basic' skills we got” she replied.
“Oh that reminds me-” Alena started to say.
“It's true that we have some more basic skills but they were useful enough that we got by find enough” Miriel replied to Lyndis ignoring Alena right now. At the same time Shadow and Sain were having a conversation as well.
“-I still need you to do some small tasks for me else you might not see the day of light again” Alena continued to say with a smile as if nothing was wrong though the group could have sworn that they heard her scowl at them for a moment there.
“.....” Everyone turned and looked at Alena who while looked perfectly fine was still having that poker smile face on. For some reason, the group felt if they did not listen to her right now, they would never see that new equipment ever again.
“Umm...”
“Yes Lyndis?” Alena politely asked still with that smile.
Lyndis could not endure that everlasting smile and could only beg, “Please have mercy on us.”
“No.”
That word was enough to make the group despair a bit. Who the hell said Alena was better than Eden in training?
xXx
And so another 5 days passed marking it the 20th day since they started the training by Alena. Right now, Alena had gone to the blacksmith to pick up their new equipment. This was after they found that rumours of that Grandmaster spending a lot of time making equipment was spread.
As such it was likely the group might be attacked sooner or later due to association with good gear.
Therefore Alena volunteered to go though the group initially rejected that idea but remembered she sent a level 600 guard flying in the air at once time with her fists alone. There was no rejection after that.
After coming back, Alena gave the equipment to the group to which Sain used his 'identify' skill to see the stats on the new stuff they got.
Aside from the large shield and the rings, all of the equipment they got could be equipped. As such Shadow was now using a new short sword which was of a dark colour unlike his spear. Miriel and Serena now also carried daggers on their side as well and Raven had a new halberd and replaced his large shield with a smaller one.
However at the same time Lyndis was fluming with jealousy that the others including himself with his spear got new stuff and she did not. However all of them would be able to use the rings they got by the year's end.
With a sigh he felt that he needed to comfort her.
“Hey Lyndis-” he was in the process of calling when Alena talked over him saying, “Now that this is done. I believe you all owe me some favours now” with a bright smile.
“....Favour?” asked Miriel with her eyes twitching now.
“Yea a 'small' favour if you please. I heard that there was a need for some practice partners for some of the younger guards. If you were to 'help' them...” she said still with that everlasting smile that was proving to be the devil's smile more than anything else....
“S-Sure...” Miriel accepted on behalf of the group.
xXx
Around 10 days later and a month at the start of the training from Alena, all of a sudden she gave them a quest.
During these 10 days, the only significant thing that happened was that Raven reached the intermediate level in repairing and got the blacksmithing skill and that the rest of them realised how weak they were compared to before even with new better equipment.
But back to the current task at hand.
“This will be the final step of your training. Live combat with all of those restrictions” she said giving the quest.
“We accept” said Sain quickly not wanting to do Alena another 'favour'. He tried not to think of what Alena forced them to do...even Eden was better that her since he would give them a swift death.
The group quickly headed out to hunt this creature before Alena forces to do anything else straining. Never again will they allow themselves to be used....as models for a fashion show!
As the group left, they did not release that the smile on Alena's face the entire time broke and she sighed muttering, “Trying to encourage them with a smile all the time is hard...”
The devil's smile was actually trying to encourage them!
“Sigh...and I thought that little break would loosen them up a bit...if they did not like it, why didn't they ask me to stop...?” she continued to mutter to herself.
Alena did not realise that her smile was starting to traumatising them to the point that they were acting submissive to her...
Author's Notes:
- Word Count: 8500~
- So many damn text boxes....
- I was intending for the content of this chapter to be part of the last chapter but it ended up too long and I needed to cut it off at the beginning of this chapter. Luckily enough, I still have 5 more chapters to work on this volume so there shouldn't be a issue with content. I hope
- btw, chapter 6 is nowhere finished to it will take perhaps two days or longer to finish up...if I'm not writing anything else at the same time. In the mist of trying to sleep and killing two mosquitoes that dared bite me and prevent me from sleeping, I'm going to write extra chapters about mostly Eden to fill in gaps that the main story cannot. The actual main story will be purely about the MCs, else the beginning and end of each Arc.
