I walked home after school since I don't have extra curricular activities. I'm too lazy to play a sport or join any clubs on campus. I sit myself down on my couch and turn the the lamp on that was right beside me.

  The Rules

  That was the book's title. Curious as to what was the contents, I opened it and... it's empty. There is no writing whatsoever. I flip through the pages to check if there's anything at all. Well that's disappointing. Nothing is written in it. As I was about to put down the book writing suddenly appears on the page I was on. I open my eyes wide while I read the text closely.

  Please bind this book with your blood. After doing so please wait some time while we analyze your blood.

  Bind the book with blood? What is this? Well.. let's try it anyways. I prick my finger with a knife that I got in the kitchen island. I drip my blood on the page where the words were and waited for something to happen. A loading icon appeared and under it said 'please wait a few moments.'

  5 mins later.

  Thank you for your patience.

  Is what it said. As I finished the text that appeared in the book, a window popped up in front of me. I jumped up and fell on the ground since the window popped up so suddenly. That surprised me. I checked the window since I was curious as to what it was.

  Curious as to what would show up, I tapped the window that appeared in front of me.

  My jaw hangs in awe as to what I see. Looking at the character window feels like I'm in a game right now. As I keep browsing through my character window I look at the time. Ah. It's midnight. I've been entertained by this new feature for a few hours now.

  I must have been really focused in order to get that passive skill. Well it's late now and I have to get up early tomorrow to see what happens when the countdown ticks to 0 hours.

  Day 2~~~

  The birds are chirping and the sun is shining through the blinds. I wake up from the sound of my ducky alarm and slowly walked towards it while yawning and stretching. Putting the alarm clock across the room helps with getting myself to wake up. I look at the clock with wide eyes and see the time

  8:30

  Shit. I'm late.

  Oops, I cursed again. That's a dollar for the tip jar. I rush to change in my uniform and run towards school.

  1st Period~~~

  Mr. Anderson: "You're LATE MY TAMURA BOY!"

  Koh: "Sorry~, I overslept again."

  Mr. Anderson: "WELL SIT DOWN BECAUSE YOU INTERRUPTED THE LESSON!"

  What nice start to this great day.

  For the rest of the period I slept because of the lack of sleep that I got from staying up until midnight. The bell woke me up and I grab my bag and rushed towards my other class.

  As soon as I open the door, the floor starts to shake. I stumble and fall but get right up. I see other students that were less unfortunate and land on their faces. The floor starts to shake again as I had to find an object to cling on. The shaking starts getting so bad that there were cracks on the floor. I lose my grip on the steel bar that I was grabbing on to and fell towards the ground. As I fell to the ground I hear a shriek of a girl that was sitting on the ground. I can't recognize the girl since she's turned around. As I get up, a screaming sounds was echoing through the halls.

  Gromp: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!'

  The scream was so deafening that I got a status effect. As I lift my head up to see what that scream was, the girl that was screaming earlier was in the mouth of what looks to be a frog. Blood and guts were sprawled across the floor and screams of horror was heard throughout the hallway. I had the urge to throw up at the scene I had seen.

  WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED. The girl was just on the ground screaming and the second I hear the scream a frog appears and eats her! I turn back to the frog and see it rushing towards me.

  Gotta go fast. I ran back to the classroom just to see a similar thing happen. I quickly turn around to run towards the opposite side of where the frog was. I cut a corner and started to look for a place to hide. I see a door that said 'Custodial Room.' I run towards it in order to hide from the frog that was chasing behind me slowly. Shutting the door behind me, darkness enveloped my surroundings. I sit down on something to catch my breath. I quickly try to calm my heartbeat. I have never been scared for my life before this incident.

  I sighed thinking the situation was safe. As relief swept through me, I heard a rustling sound in the room.

  Female Voice: "Who are you?"
