…
It had been about a day or two, and Vistilia and her family had already packed away all their things into their new home. All in all, it had been a rather easy going past two days. Gaia had come by a handful of times to py with Vistilia, yet she had never actually stayed over for that long.
Vistilia had deduced that it was likely that the girl couldn’t stay over because her father was a rather important political figure. Her parents didn’t really speak about it when she had brought it up at dinner once, yet she thought that they likely thought the same thing. A smile crept up to her face as she pondered these things.
The day was bright, the food was good, and it was also time for something to be discussed. This thing was something that Vistilia was slightly dreading, yet was exited for. It was school.
“So, little one, are looking forward to school? You do go tomorrow,” Her father spoke, his tone gentle.
“Yes father. I am rather excited to go to school tomorrow. Mainly because Gaia will also be going to school tomorrow. It’s both our first days,” Vistilia expined, her fork stabbing a piece of pancake and shoveling the moist thing into her mouth.
Leris nodded his head with a smile. He hadn’t expected the friendship with Gaia to stick after only two days. Of course, kids could make friends with anyone else, they just needed to have at least one thing in common. Yet, he felt that this friendship would st.
“Of course, little one. After breakfast, why don’t you go and visit Gaia? I’m sure she’d like to py,” he said, earning a nod of the head from his daughter.

Vistilia stood in front of Gaia’s front door. The house was just like her own, yet she felt a little apprehensive. She didn’t know why, though. While these emotions didn’t really show upon her face, she did ponder them.
Why did she feel so apprehensive about stepping foot in her home? Well, she had never actually stepped foot in Aivan’s home either. She had only ever let him in her own home. Maybe that was it? Maybe it was a line that she had never crossed with anyone?
She then shook her head. Now wasn’t the time to think of such things. Now was the time to simply py with her new friend, Gaia. She stepped up to the door. She knocked on the door, and stepped back a little bit. Her breath catching in her throat as she waited after the knock.
Soon enough, after about a minute of waiting, a voice could be heard on the other side. While it wasn’t the voice of the little girl, it wasn’t a voice she recognized. That earned an internal sigh in her mind.
“Hello? Who is it?” the voice asked, the feminine tone reminding Vistilia that Gaia’s family probably had servants.
“Good morning, It’s me Vistilia, the girl from across the street? I was wondering if I could go and py with Gaia?” she asked, her tone slightly bnk, yet had a hint of hopefulness to it.
“Just wait a minute,” the woman’s voice answered, and then the sounds of a lock untching could be heard.
After a second or two, the door opened, and on the other side of it could be seen a woman wearing a what could only be a maid’s uniform. Vistilia had never seen one in real life before. Her eye’s slightly widened at the sight.
Her hair was bck, and she had slightly sun kissed skin. Her eyes were red, and her back was straight. While Vistilia’s reaction wasn’t from the appearance of the woman herself, it was more so the fact that she was wearing a maid’s uniform from earth.
“Yes? I believe that the young mistress is waiting for you in her room. I shall lead you. Come along,” she said, her tone that of a strict parent.
The small girl nodded her head, and followed along behind the older woman. As she stepped inside the house, she could feel the air change. It was stuffy, that was the only word that she could use to describe it. The air was stuffy.
The inside of the building was just like her own home. With the entrance room/living room taking up a rather rge section of the bottom floor of the house, then the maid led her to the dining room, and up the stairs to the second floor.
The wood around her was different though. It was a lot lighter. It reminded her of oak, not the near bck wood that made up her home. The stone was also lighter. A slight grey, almost white, it was. though, the color theme made the air stuffy, as said earlier.
As the two of them walked down the hallway, Vistilia noticed the door that led to the library was closed, or it was the door that led to the library in her home. It was probably different in this home. She looked to her right, instead of her right and spotted the doors along the right side of the hall. One of them was open, with a voice that she had quickly become familiar with coming from it.
As they arrived to the door, the maid whose name still alluded her spoke, knocking on the open door as she did so. Her tone was stern, as it was when she had spoken to Vistilia herself. It reminded her of her own mother when she angered her.
“Young mistress, your friend is here to py with you. Please keep your voices down,” she said as she walked off, and into the stairway.
Vistilia gnced at her as she walked by, and then back to the room. There, on her bed, was Gaia reading a book. The title was in a script that she had never seen before, yet she still felt like it was something that an earthling would recognize.
Gaia then pced a bookmark in the book, and set it down on the nightstand next to her. Said nightstand was next to her bed, the was pced lengthwise against the wall the beheld the window of her room. Her room looked a lot like Vistilia’s own room, if one were to be frank.
Gaia got up from her bed and peered at the girl in front of her. she stood up on the bed, crossed her arms, and pouted at the girl. She spoke, her tone mocking and slightly satirical. This earned a smile from the girl in her doorway.
“You’re te,” she said, her nose upturned.
“A friend is never te, neither are they early. A friend arrives precisely when they mean to,” she said, her tone jesting.
They stayed silent like that, Vistilia walking into the room and closing the door behind her without looking away from the girl to who’s room she was in. Gaia, on the other hand, looked perfectly normal as well. Her father’s politician’s blood gifting her with an excellent poker face.
Then a giggle passed through her lips, and a slight smile graced Vistilia’s face. Gaia was the first one to crack, with a burst of ughter breaking through said poker face. Vistilia’s own face didn’t change much, though. she simply walked over to her friend and gave her a hug after she hopped down from her bed.
