The Eldritch One has asked me to find a Timeless Token for use in a bomb to bring the future to the present. I have a compass needle that will lead me to it. I even made the housing for it. It was a gift from a god, so I felt like it should be stylish and decided to use a bit of electrum I found in one of Syn's random treasure chests to shape a case. Which makes me nervous, now that I think about it. Did Syn plan this?

  It doesn't matter. The needle came from the Eldritch One, and now the compass is pointing towards somewhere in the southwest of the Vale. It would be more useful if it pointed the way I should actually walk, though, since no path in this place runs straight.
