Kunago asked me to find the lyre that he played when he was still mortal. Syn took it from him and hid it in shadows that are too dark and silent for Kunago to sense it. But this entire Vale is shadowed, so that wasn't particularly helpful.

  I ended up asking Coatl-ome about it since she seems to know so much about the Vale. She was only a little condescending about me asking for help. She recommended I look for Kunago's lyre in the grimling caves in the foothills to the west. Kunago said the lyre was in silent shadows, and the grimlings are blind, subterranean hunters that locate prey with sound. It stands to reason their dens would be quiet.

  It's as good a place as any to start. And I think the cave I went through to get to the foothills out west might have a grimling den under it. There were enough of them in the upper caves, at any rate.
