Hey! If you are following the story since the beginning, thanks for being here! If you just saw this on the front page and decided to check out what's happening, I will also say thank you because we all know how much effort that additional click takes :)

  I mentioned in my Holiday Announcement that I plan to take a one-week break every two months or so. And the next break is imminent: it's scheduled for the end of February. I'll continue writing and editing, but during the last week of this month, there will be no new chapters posted here (there may be additional chapters available for my , though).

  The next break will happen in April when the first book is fully posted on Royal Road. And it will be a longer one.

  January was dedicated to editing a bunch of chapters to have a solid backlog for my patrons. I didn't meet the deadline that I set for myself, but if we exclude the days I was ill, I almost have done it one time :)

  In any case, now all chapters posted on Patreon as in the final state. There may be some minor tweaks made there, but not as much as it was when I bumped them from the 3rd or even the 2nd draft to the current version. The next goal is to widen the number of advance chapters I offer at the Master level to 15 (currently, it's 11-13 chapters). I hope to do that within a few weeks.

  One last thing: I started posting a new story. It's YA, magical school, all that stuff. I'll post only one chapter per week. The plan is to have the whole first book out in the upcoming 25 weeks (you'll find out why at the end of the book's blurb). You can read it here:
