Is a new day as Goji opens her eyes . The questions from st night still haunt her mind, but she makes a conscious effort to bury them deep in her thoughts. She tells herself she is a queen, queen of the monsters, as she struggles with the ideas. After some moments of deluding herself, she makes the compromise to try to resolve it ter when she is ready . Right now, real responsibilities are in front of her , in the form of two dogs moving their tails and giving her soft headbutts as she moves to the kitchen to give her pets food . And for herself? She rummages through the kitchen cabinets until she finds some cans of tuna, which she eats sitting on the couch, watching the news of the day .
- This morning, we have been given the test information from the battlefield in Europe . First, the biggest battlefield across Europe is in French territory and its neighbors, as much of the country has been lost to the undead , with distinct fronts going across the country, the most important ones being the Rennes-Nantes front, Lyon- Geneva - Montpellier, and the Belgium - Germany front, trying to contain this undead force . On the other side of the Channel in the United Kingdom , London has been hit with a catastrophic blow at the start of the Gate's appearance , with the majority of the Royal family found dead . Members of it, especially Prince Richard and his daughter Alexandrina, were in the city of Manchester attending an event, so they have survived. Prince Richard, as per the st news, is to be procimed King in the next weeks . As for the Gate itself and the monsters pouring from it, they have been identified as some type of wolf monster and lycanthropes . As of st night, the city of London has been officially lost, and battles ensue through Birmingham and surrounding cities . In Central Europe, Germany, Switzernd , Austria, and other countries in Central Europe and the Balkans have been subject to constant attacks from monsters of the Gates, though not as hard as France, the USA , or Brazil. The constant harassment and skirmishes from the monsters, along with the direct threat of France's undead Gate, have left the Chancellor of Germany stating they have their hands tied and can only provide minimal support . We will get to you in a few minutes more after this break .
As the international news goes to a break and Goji finishes eating her tuna , a sudden ding is heard from her new phone . With a bit of awkwardness, she is able to safely read what it is -a message from something she can only assume is official, as they cite her to a meeting on the first floor. After some moments, a message from Joy saying she is coming to pick her up appears on the screen, and that clears any doubts in her mind . It is her first reunion, so the specific indication from Joy about wearing clothes fitting for the occasion is noted . She moves to her room and rummages through the closet until she finds something she deems acceptable . Trying to copy Joy's uniform, she puts on some military-like cargo pants. After asking herself why someone would need so many pockets, she rummages through her clothes once more until she stumbles upon a rge enough t-shirt that fits her . It's a bit tight around her chest and shoulders, principally because of her build, but good enough . She slips into some boots and is ready to meet Joy . After some minutes of waiting, a knock at the door is heard, and Goji opens it, revealing Joy before she can say anything. Joy takes her and moves to the couch, with the door being firmly closed behind her.
- Miss Gojira, do you know how to read, no? *The voice of Joy is calm but edged as she gnces at Goji before turning her gaze elsewhere. *
- Yeah? What the hell was that, Joy? *Goji says, surprised and stunned. These things keep happening . What the hell did she do now?* - Then why are you wearing that to a military meeting? *She points towards her t-shirt without looking directly at it.* - What? What is wrong with this t-shirt? *Goji asks, confused, looking down at her t-shirt.* - What is wrong? It's from a freaking music band! And we are meeting the command and other hunters, for God's sake ?! * With a sigh, Joy stumbles toward Goji's room, and after searching for a bit, she goes back down to the couch where Goji is still seated, confused about social norms.* Here, put this on . It's formal wear for a formal meeting, not a freaking gathering of fans. * Sigh *... I should have started with social norms before electronics.
Goji takes the clothes and starts changing her t-shirt, and after switching and fixing her long, rebellious hair behind her and out of her eyes , she is graced by the completely flushed face of Joy looking at her. It seems the social norms are at the top of the list of things she has to learn.
