After a long day for all of the boys, they all made it back to their dorm, and they decided to rest a bit before continuing to theorize about the hooded figures they had seen a few days ago. But as they rested a bit, playing games and doing assignments, Marc seemed to be making a few new inventions for the others. As the others finished doing their work and resting, Marc called them over to show them the new devices.

  "Everyone, please come over to my workstation. I have something for you," he said while working on the last item. As the others walked over, they noticed that Marc had never told them what he was even making; he just said it was important. Once they all made it to his workbench, he showed them what he was working on.

  "So what are these exactly?" asked Kian with his head turned a bit and with a confused expression on his face.

  "I mean, who cares they look cool," said Jash with an excited look, admiring the devices.

  "I'll explain it once you wear them," said Marc with an annoyed look on his face.

  "So which one of these is for which person?" asked hope scratching his chin curiously

  "I'll just hand them to each of you one by one so as not to confuse the other, first for Hope this necklace," said Marc while holding a master-crafted necklace with a master crafted necklace with a golden like string and a silver pendant in the shape of two wings surrounding an orb. After seeing it, Hope put it on with glee in his eyes.

  "Next for Marv, this watch," said Marc, holding out a watch. The design was very simple and plain-looking until they saw the actual clock of the watch. Instead of using hands, it used celestial bodies as the hours and the earth and the moon as the hands of the clock. Marv was in awe of the design, and once he put it on, he said, "Thanks, man," with a smile on his face.

  "Here you go, Kian, a new pair of glasses," said Marc. The glasses looked a bit rough, the frames were round in shape and had a few small minerals surrounding the frames of the glasses. Once Kian put them on, they immediately adjusted to his eyesight. Kian looked impressed as he looked around to see if this was accurate to his eyes.

  "Now, for you, Jash, this ring," said Marc, holding a ring that took the shape of a red dragon breathing fire. Once Jash held it in his arm, it grew a bit to fit his finger size as he put it on. Jash felt a great deal of pride in the ring.

  "Now for you, Isaiah, this ear cuff," said Marc while holding an ear cuff made with jagged ice and snowflakes that hung from it. As Isaiah put it around his ear, he started to think about what these accessories' functions were for.

  "Now it's time to explain what these are for. These devices send out a special type of frequency to the minds of the people wearing them...." Marc continued to ramble on about how they worked. The 5 started to zone out until Marc finally got to the main point and said, "So in short, we can use these to communicate with each other." The others, after hearing that, finally understood what the accessories were for; they were communicators.

  "So how do we activate them?" asked Marv, curiously looking at his new watch

  "Simple, just tap them and they should activate," answered Marc. After all of them started to test it out, after a few minutes of testing it out, they finally went back to the board and decided to investigate around the Academy for clues about the hooded figures.
