Hey there, folks!
I figured I would get on here and chat about the state of the series and the next book. This journey has been one of the coolest experiences of my life. Being able to write for people, starting a Patreon, and actually having people join it. That's been absolutely wild. Sitting here with three books done, one of those being for Dug and Obu, is a surreal experience.
Not sure if this will resonate with anyone, but I spent a lot of my high school and early adulthood struggling to find a purpose and calling in life. For me, that probably looked different coming from a Christian background, but I think everyone, regardless of their background, wants to make a meaningful impact on the world. I'm not saying that my books will do that, but writing for all of you has reawakened a love for creation and the written word within me, so I wanted to thank you.
Thank you for sticking around, for reading, for reviewing. It really does mean a lot to me.
As for the series as a whole, Book 1 will probably be released here in the next month or two. Expect a STUB announcement at some point. Book 2 is being edited, but it will be some time yet before that one will be released. Book 3 is currently being written. The first three chapters are up on Patreon, along with another dungeon story I have been writing up. I will pitch it down below, and if that interests you, the current chapter count is around 12 or 13. All in all, it is nice to have full-time work again, nice to be writing Tiny Dungeon once more, and I look forward to posting Book 3 in the coming month or so, depending on how fast I can write.
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
Now for the blurb for my new story:
When Ol' Man Marley goes to bed one night, he doesn’t expect a magical meteorite to fall on his farmhouse. Contrary to expectations, he isn’t killed, though he has a lovely spot of tea with Miss Death. He wakes up to find his farmhouse destroyed, his animals gone, and his body incorporeal. The only bright spot is that he now has access to The Connection, which informs him that his farm has become a Dungeon and he is its keeper.
Suddenly thrust into a position where his humble farm is now the focal point of regional attention, old man Marley just wants to continue his life in peace. Sadly, peace is not something most Dungeons experience. If Marley wants to survive, he will have to brush off some old skills and learn how to Dungeon, especially when those young whippersnappers, I mean adventurers, start poking around his farm. Welcome to Old Man Marley & His Dungeon Farm!
Hope you guys have a wonderful day! Bearded Man out!
