Year 79, seven months after the evolution
Alda was shaken to her core…
Everyone had felt it.
The fall of the world eater had shaken the world in a magical sense.
From her now mortal senses, Alda tried to judge if this change had benefited the dragon who aided them and had defended the world from the worms.
‘But that the world itself does this at such a young age.. ‘?
The souls of dragons were no joke, and this one alone seems to have potential she had never heard from the elder gods alone…
This world held secrets—now she was certain of that.
But they had won, and that was what mattered.
Scanning the burnt desert, Alda saw the remaining monster wave and elves finishing off the last worms that survived.
It looks like this world would still be a place for her and her children to live for now...
Her eyes landed back on the dragon still within the worm mother... hopefully, this being would be open to dialogue after this victory.
Isaac was in shock…
The most shocking of all was the two eggs in front of him that were very like his own… when he had hatched…
It was a surreal moment.
Was he gonna be a dragon dad...
The thought sent a chill down his spine. He was not ready to be a teen dragon dad...
Tryin to focus on something else.
?The title he had been given pinged in his mind.
World Title: Dragon Patriarch of Fire?
It even had a description.
You command fire like no other dragon, and for that, all fire listens to you, and so all dragons' aspects in fire will too, and to a lesser degree, other dragons.
The description gave Isaac the most information he had received from any system-related source.
It was an interesting boost to his power, too.
Already, fire was like breathing to him. ‘At this rate, I will be the personification of fire,’ he thought. That made him chuckle. He was progressing, and he enjoyed that about his current life.
Isaac was still in the head of the worm queen, and the smell of burnt worm... was not something he enjoyed.
He gently picked up the eggs, then began crawling out of the cauterized hole, carrying them securely.
It was then that his skill level-ups began to take their part...
The power and levels had been given during the battle. Now his gains had been finalized and added as numbers to his stats.

As the skill level up finalised and Isaac came out of the worm... it seemed new to him...
He was amazed to realise how much difference so many levels made, but he felt refreshed now that all the levels had been finalised.
'That and the... divine mana I channelled from the land.' He could still feel the mana pulsing deep in the ground, mending the land after the worms’ damage over the years. It was intriguing and felt more alive than any other mana type he had encountered before.
As Isaac emerged, he noticed everyone was watching him—the trailing monster wave, elves still clearing out frantic worms, and a particularly tall green elf. Isaac could sense a special connection between this elf, the land, and mana, unlike anything he had encountered before.
It was a new feeling to be the centre of attention after more than a year of being a loner... but he basked in it... it was a feeling he could get used to.
The green elf walked purposefully toward him. Isaac tried not to stare, but sensed something otherworldly about her—not threatening, but clearly not originally of this world.
“Greetings, dragon of true flame, “ she spoke as she got closer, a small group of elves spreading around them, not to threaten, but they let their presence be known.
Isaac protectively covered the eggs, but responded. “Greetings, you must be the leader?” The question was met with a smile and a nod.
“You could say that.” It was a bitter smile. She sighed and looked back at Isaac. “I have to thank you, Dragon,” she said, while looking over the battlefield.
“I was ready to lay down my life for my children... ” Some of the elves gasped as they heard her say, “But you arrived in time to stop the world-eater worms, and save us in kind” Her eyes held a gratitude that Isaac had never seen before.
“No worries there, I was doin' it for myself too,” he smiled... some of the elves seemed to be scared by the gesture, but it didn't seem to scare the lead elf at least.
“But where are my manners?” she bowed deeply to him “I am Alda go— Descended God of Nature”
The second she said her name, Isaac knew this to be the truth of the world, and he could feel a resonance to her word beneath the ground. ‘So this is where Heart of tree and bark got their power.’
It didn't surprise him that a god was here in this fantasy world, and so far, she seemed to be nice.
“And I am Isaac—” he started, but that didn’t seem right. “Of True Flame.” As he said it, everyone felt the truth in his words: all flame belonged to him.
Even his title pulsed a little.
For a split second, Alda’s eyes widened. But she quickly returned to normal. “I greet you, Isaac of True Flame, and welcome you to our green heaven.” She motioned to the wall. “You and your kin will always have a home with us.”
The generosity took Isaac aback.
“I —thank you, Alda... it would be nice to have someone to talk to”, Isaac said, and it was true... if there was any out there that could answer any of his questions, it would be some of the elves, if not her.
‘And in general, to have someone to talk to would be nice. and not be alone with my own thoughts all the damn time.’ Isaac sighed in relief.
At that point, Alda seemed to come to a decision.
"May I ask you something, dragon?" Alda's voice grew serious. Isaac nodded for her to continue. "Are you truly the only one of your kind?"
"To my knowledge... or—" He glanced at the eggs in his grip. "For now, at least."
The descended god followed Isaac's eyes and landed on the eggs... was she going pale, or was it just the light?
