By the time he got to the abandon mall, Haiji checked his usual spot but Daigo was yet to return so he went to the first floor and brought up his Profile to distribute the reversed Status points.

‘How much Status point do I need to put into Construct? It would be stupid of me to just throw a huge amount of it into it. Shit, I thought I have figured half of this shit out already but it seems like knowing half of the story won’t cut it by a long shot’ Haiji thought, looking at the holographic tab as he paced back and font in the same toilet that he was into before Daigo came to call him out several hours ago.
‘…And I can’t just be adding little by little and testing if my body can handle a mad punch force. I don’t have that humpty Evolve nurse to patch up if I break trying test this shit out. Fuck, I do not even want to break my bones to begin with…’ He finally stopped pacing around, headed straight to a corner and resting his back on the wall, before slide his back downwards and falling on his butt.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
He sat there, coming up with different ideas and errors in those ideas for several tens of minutes, then his eyes made a quick and unintentional glance at the Profile tab.
His eyes caught something that was somewhat strange but felt not coincidental.
“Damage per hit is 40… Strength is 8… and Speed is 5, 8 times 5 is…40” He couldn’t help but say aloud, adjust his sitting posture so he could concentrate on where this is going.
‘That can’t be a bloody coincident that they Damage per hit happens to be the exact number if the Status point in Strength and Speed are times together… Fuck, I fuckin' hate this stupid game-fuckin'-like System’ He couldn’t help but lament internally, as his head started to feel like it is about to start aching because of all the thinking he has been doing.
He then forced himself to take a deep breath and whispered to himself “Let’s see what’s going to happen when I add 1 Status Point to Strength…”
He did as he said and like he suspected, Damage per Hit instantly changed to 45.
‘I will be damn, so the power of my attack isn’t just Strength alone in this case but Speed also. I suspected it but the kid on the train said ‘Strength is equal to Power’, maybe I shouldn’t really judge everything about this System based on a stupid game the kid plays. It might look like a game shit, but this is my fuckin' life’ He quietly took down another mental note on his understand on his new found power.
“My body should be able to handle my attack power… So, that will mean my Damage per hit should be equal to my Construct?” He said, partly asking himself the question.
He then decided to throw 35 Points into Construct, it wasn’t a confident decision for him to make but he had to trust his intuition and reasoning or increase it little by little, then test on his strength with the possibility of injuring himself again.
After he did increased Construct, he stood up and walked to the walk opposite him then stopped few feet away from it, before rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck.
He threw a right jab to the wall with all his might, a loud thud followed after the strike leaving cracks like spider webs on the wall.
Haiji causally withdrew his fist and flexing his grip to check for any sign of pain.
“That is about as strong as I punch the golem… not exactly the exact amount of force but close” Haiji said as he inspects his right arm, then looked at the damage he did to the wall more closely.
The print of his fist was few inches inserted deep into the wall, with small webs of cracks around it.
“No severe pain, just the plain regular kind from punch stuff” He said to himself as he heard a voice from the other side of the toilet door, “Hey, di…you hear…at, soun…s like … gun…. or some….” but it was mostly muffled which means the person speaking was a bit far way.
He stood still for a bit and concentrated on his hearing, to listening if someone was approaching the toilet he was in, but after ten second or a bit more he didn’t hear any sound of someone approaching the toilet.
He then turned his attention back to the Profile tab levitating in front of his face.
“Now time to distribute the rest of the Points” He said to himself, going down to business.
