So.. Where to?

The two spoke, discussing means of travel.

They decided to take a horse carriage, renting their own one for the time being.

The merchant grinned, shaking Aurelis' hand "Just get her to Greage, I have a friend in need."

A simple wooden box attached to a small horse, standing silent.

Vex knocked on the wooden box "Nothing fancy huh?"

He turned to Aurelis, nudging him.

Aurelis sighed "It should do great, we only need to reach Greage town.."

After a brief stop, he coughed "I have some.. unfinished business."

Vex whimpers "Wait, out of Carebon town?! For how long??"

He kept nudging aurelis, almost making Aurelis trip on a rock.

Aurelis got up into the carriage, ignoring Vex.

Vex got up as well, he sat in front of aurelis, and continued "You know there is a blue moon festival taking place here in like 5 days!"

Aurelis sighed "You know what? I believe we will make it back quick enough."

He looked out of the carriage.

Vex huffed "Well I hope you are not wrong. What about that robe anyways?"

  Vex pointed at aurelis' robe.

A moment of silence passed, Aurelis flatly answered "Its nothing"

Vex scoffs "You really are not talkative at all!"

The carriage travels around town, the town is filled with wooden houses, their roofs made of hay. Some are considerably bigger than others.

Occasionally, they pass by bars, that reeked the smell of alcohol.

Vex covered his nose "This carriage smells worse than the bars we pass by.."

Aurelis tilted his head towards Vex "It smells like a horse, because its a horse carriage."

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Vex exhaled "Worst smelling worse ever!"

They pass by many people, laughs, chats, trades commencing.

People wearing all kinds of attires, some plain suits, some butler like, some ragged.

A lot of eyes were prying on the carriage.

Vex looked at the crowds, tapping his finger on the wooden wall of the carriage "I guess anything is a privilege in those parts of the town.."

One man spits in their direction. He looked shabby ragged clothes and a missing eye, wearing a small leather cap.

After a short ride, they reached the town's gates.

The gates were small wooden semicircles.

The guard barely glanced in their direction, and doesn't even bother checking them. Simply gesturing them to go.

Outside the town, the sun shined bright. There was a long stony road, splitting into many paths to different towns.

A wooden sign post, barely held up, wrote a few different towns. Carebon town pointing south east, where they came from, Relea town pointing west, and Greage town pointing north.

Each road was accompanied by a grassy field, occasional flowers and the sightings of animals. The heat reflected on the road, and the distant sound of a river flowing can be heard.

Aurelis took the path north, to Greage town. The horse strides forward, its footsteps clacking with the road.

The road was smooth, with occasional bumps of untrimmed stones. The adventure just begun.
